Oh, fuck this shit!!!!
Yet another high school massacre.
It started off with "several injuries, shooter arrested, situation contained" and I though " well that could have been worse"...
AND IT IS!

and a politician has to open his mouth and say it was because "there were too many entrances and exits"
Yes because having 1-2 exits during a school shooting, fire or any emergency is the way to go.

So the preacher from the episcopal chruch was just saying something about "The power to change the world!" at the Royal Wedding.

Re: Thread : In the news today
Fun fact, after active shooter training at work it was suggested that all doors in the hallway should open inwards. For those unaware, that's led to people dying in fires due to doors being unable to be opened with so many people crowding them. But, ya know, better that we can barricade the doors for if a shooter comes in rather than be able to escape in the much more likely event of a fire, in an industrial facility. Bright side is the general consensus is that if there is another one here in the future, we probably won't find out about it until it's over, one way or another.

Lol Don, I expected you in here today … but later after the Mars news conference not … lol
A Japan … why?! Just … why?!
Anyways, methane on Mars? So much too learn, so much to discover … if only we had the drive to get people up there. I hope Boing and SpaceX get into a space race with each other, I really want to see us in space and Mars before I die.

How saddening.
The article doesn't seem to mention a note. Why was he so unhappy?

You don't need a reason when depression is involved. It can just happen. You can achieve a lot of the goals that people strive for and think will make them happy and still feel dead inside. I imagine it could be worse in those cases because you have everything and you still feel broken.
