Ars Technica did a post on the Opera 12 browser, and featured a screen shot that demonstrated the new theme system with a Rainbow Dash theme. Naturally, the comments on the post are approximately 82% pony. Or at least it was until some hater posted a rant about "maladjusted attention whores" who should "let the adults talk."

Awesome as that is, it'd be nice of the commentors would realize how tangential the relationship is. The flamewar (pun not intended) happening in there is ludicrous.

When I was first told to "euthanize" the companion cube, I spent about half an hour running all over the test chamber looking for some other way out. I was sure I must've missed something. I finally ended up chucking Chell into the incinerator in frustration, and to this day I couldn't really tell you why. I actually took my hands off my keyboard jerked back in surprise right after I did it.

That's one of the things I loved about Portal -- it surprised you and fucked with your head in multiple ways.
