It's comedy, and one mustn't sweat the small stuff, but my headcanon says that Jung has superlative hearing and always does this stuff deliberately. Now, can Aaron come up with a viable superhero story, ideally with three strong female leads to get inside Ramona's guard, that still leads to a bubble bath scene? And is the point of panel 2.5 that Aaron needs to get laid, so that his excess hormones can stop slopping into his superhero scripting?

Marketing a book as one thing and making it something else? That's a weird thing to mention in one of these comics.

It can be done, for example, they're fighting a super-villain that turns them temporarily into horny lesbians (cut to the scene), or the scene can be someone else's imagination when he sees the 3 of them, I don't know, but it can be done.
That's what i do... i drink and i know things...

Re: PTC 14-11-19 I am mature like that
A supervillain using mind control to turn them into horny lesbians would be a bit too blatant — it’d provoke lots of “Yeah, yeah, of course that’s logical” while leaving slightly more alert readers feeling that they’re being compared to a creepy supervillain because they like this stuff.
A better bet would be to write it as a Chris Claremont-style superhero soap opera, with characters whose love lives and noncombat interactions were as much part of the story as the fight scenes, and then turn the soap opera very Ma3-ish, with the characters cheerfully getting their rocks off with each other because hey, why not, they’re young, horny, and attractive. But Ma3-style sexy soap opera teeters on the edge of porn at times even with experienced, mature writers, so Aaron would be sure to bollix it up and end up writing low-grade softcore.

Re: PTC 14-11-19 I am mature like that
I see what you did there. {My emphasis}
Or, what if the heroines had to fight in a sewer or very some sort of Skunk-like villain/monster. Like a TMNT-style Pepe le Peu. It sure is nice to have help getting one's back washed...
Just sayin'.
Of course, the obvious story line and joke is that Ramona is a hypocrite, like most of us to one degree or another. And while I agree with her in principle, that they should be working on a superhero comic first-and-foremost, the ladies theoretically do have down time. Comic art since the 90s (some would say earlier with one of Sue Storm's costumes and even Betty Boop) has been soft grade porn-y eye candy. Seems logical that there could be a written progression to accompany the artwork. Just, not on issue 1, if Ramona et al. are trying for a serious superheroine adventure.

Sue Storm at least tends to full body suits. It’s Phantom Lady, Power Girl, and Starfire who invoke the Theiss Titillation Theory full force.
And I would assume that Ramona might say that they’re not only trying for serious superheroic storytelling, but Aaron’s script initially promises strong female characters, which would give the comic crossover appeal to a large female audience — double the market. Now, female readers might not mind if their heroines eventually got some downtime, chilled out in not very much, and developed sex lives — but if you put a bath scene in issue 1, you’re telling them that you’re selling to the adolescent boy market first and foremost, which will leave them looking elsewhere for what they want.
(Funny thing; Marvel’s Skunk Girl neglected to afflict her one opponent to date with the need for a bath, despite the fact that said opponent was already hanging out with her girl friends...)

I was referring to Sue Storm's Invisible Woman Swimsuit / Cut Out 4 Costume. Something about her being "frumpy" in her other previous outfits.
But I agree.

Okay, I must confess that I'd never seen that one. My excuse is the same as the writers'; It Was The 90s.

Re: PTC 14-11-19 I am mature like that
Aaron pointing out that Ramona would be all over three guys in a bubble bath shows more wit and spine from him than I was expecting, good for him!
Ramona still has to pretend a superhero story cannot also be a sexy story, or a romantic story, or a cheesecake-fest at the same time; something that would be quickly disproved by just looking at any existing superhero story. Characters just having superpowers and using them is boring, at best you get some outsider-art thing like Stardust the SuperWizard which is mostly entertaining in how bad it is.
And it is especially true for superheroines because as an industry primarily geared at teenage boys, it is really full of male gaze and objectification of women. Aaron's script with a bubble bathfor three is kind of run-of-the-mill in that respect.

S’funny. Not one bubble bath in the entire run of the current Ms. Marvel series so far...

Although there was that time she swapped bodies with Spider-Man. Neither of them commented on the other smelling bad, so you've gotta figure they bathed in each other's bodies at least once. Then again, they both sorta seem the type to not be too bothered about that kind of thing, and they're both trustworthy enough to not be creepy.
I wonder if Aaron is capable of that level of tact in his writing.

Ah, that’ll have been in one of the team books. I must admit that I’m only really familiar with her solo title.
Given Aaron’s demonstrated tact/hormone ratio, I wouldn’t want to see him within several miles of writing a character like Kamala.
