I wasn't comparing Zoe's height to Eva's. I was referring to the difference in height between Zoe and the papprazo she was glaring at (since that was the example J linked to).

I think they're just being mean to Marie because they're bad people. Don't overthink it.

This is getting dangerously close to "Oh you'll get what's coming to you", or dare I say it moustache-twirling. The question is will Marie realize it?

Also I'm thinking that after the makeover is complete Alex is going to make some comedically insensitive remark about how she looks worse than before.
