Yep, Ruby was bound to give herself away sooner or later. I'm glad it was this way, for maximum embarassment. Bonus points if next strip Dillon starts teasing her for being caught peeking again. That may be enough to drive her back behind her closed bedroom door if Ray doesn't intervene.

Meanwhile, I'm really looking forward either to (a)the moment Ray reveals he's 100% (or 99.999% anyway) hetero and Dillon's hopes get dashed, or (b) Dillon's conscience wakes up fully and cockblocks him. (b) would be better for Dillon's character development, but I'd find (a) more enjoyable. :ymdevil:

I laughed for a good minute. I knew she would do something like this but I still laughed my butt off anyway. I think she just put herself in a pickle. Ruby can't hide and observe anymore. Now the question is will she be practice or a second opinion watching Dillon and Ray. If Ray is hetro as he appears then I'm thinking former.

Meanwhile Dillon is feeling bad for taking advantage of Ray and I like this. He is show signs of growing as a person. He still has a LONG way to go but it is progress.

Well, being a ranger got him some kind of dual weapon wielding ability. He seems to regard that as optimal...

Not truly maximised, actually. Maximised would be, oh, falling forward on her nose with her skirt swirling up round her waist just as Dillon had got hand down the back of Ray's trousers and Dillon was saying something about the women in the audience falling over themselves with lust after seeing Ray acting this well. This situation is somewhat recoverable. It helps that she'#s wearing trousers, obviously.

And remember, if Ruby is embarrassed by giving herself away like this, Ray will be embarrassed to know that a cute girl saw him kissing a guy, and Dillon will be embarrassed as a side-effect of his sudden attack of conscience. In fact, I suspect that everybody will be so quick to change the subject that we'll segue into "Ruby is recruited to kiss Ray" inside the next four panels. Which will be far more difficult for her than merely being caught watching.

I know the job for Rudy: director of yahoi movies! I guess her sister and Dillon could have her introduced in the business...
(A doubt: does "yahoi movies" make sense or "yahoi" refers only to comics?)

Yaoi stands for Yamanashi, Ochinashi, Iminashi (No climax, no resolution, no meaning). It is used for things containing homosexual male characters, usually when it's sexual and descriptive.

so it can be for anything, including movies

the female version is called Yuri which means Lily

Seem oddly out of character for him, doesn't it? (he sure as Hell never had a problem trying to seduce Gary when he knew the guy wasn't into him)

It appears to be confusing him too. Perhaps it's a cumulative effect; the Gary fixation having earned him nothing but trouble, then the Jerzy stalking incident leading to disaster, then Ruby pointing out to him in words of one syllable that he needs to think about the consequences of his actions, and now, maybe crucially, the fact that he's deceiving and exploiting one of his oldest friends.
