No, a girl believes that Gary is gay based on the fact that Dillon admits to having a crush on the guy, has two pictures of the him (both a head shot and bare ass naked one) by his bedside, and was told that they shared a bed together, as well as kissed.
And, if she overheard Jerzy referring to Gary as competition for Dillon's affection (and Dillon doing nothing to deny it), what else would she assume?

I think spid blocked me LOOOONGGG ago, so he won't see my answer
but reason they "seem repetitive" is because they want as much as possible for the strips of Ma3 to stand on themselves plot wise, and same thing for SDB and also for SOTR
thus basically............... Dillon and Amber appear on Ma3, and Matt and Gary appear in SDB, but Ruby does not show on Ma3, and Peggy does not show up in SDB even though one is inside the men's room, and the other is just outside of that same restroom
