Whooha! Just today, I was wondering how things went down between Heather and her parents, and here it is!
Honestly, what the vampires did to those two sickened me from the get-go. I never saw any indication that they deserved that kind of mistreatment.
...
Am I really mean if I hope they make Heather live on her own so their new baby won't be in danger?
I'm sorry, did I trip and fall into a dimensional worm hole through time and space....and art style?

Well, really, what did she expect to happen? Why did she even came back there in first place?
Honestly, I have always found the enthralling thing revolting. I hope Heather isn't forgiven too easily, but I don't have much hope; the fact that the VC are allowed to turn girls from their school without repercussions reinforces my perception that almost all humans in the Cheerverse are suicidal loons who wish to be enslaved and/or devoured by cryptids

my guess is that she thought that her parents were still under mind control....and it seems that the parents were fully aware of everything that had happened while they were under mind control
All you need is a chair, a hatchet, saw, machete or sturdy knife, and you can get plenty stakes in a very short time.
And Heaher's parents had a lot of time to prepare. Heather has been taken by PETM, smuggled by the gorgon, Suki has been tortured for a while, and they have been rescued by the PMS. It has been a few days at least, or even weeks.
As a matter of fact, what I find surprising is that they haven't bought a couple shotguns and a few bottles of holy water. Or at least moved to somewhere else where Heather couldn't enter uninvited. I guess they thought that PETM had taken Heather away forever, but still, they should have been informed that she had disappeared when Mrs. Harrow kidnapped the VS.

Everybody knows that she's a vampire now, and her parents have had a lot of time to explain everybody how she kept them enslaved; she won't be able to keep her parents enthralled without being noticed.
Entrhalling them could work as a short-term solution, but she will have to find another place to live or make amends with them.
If I were to make a story of Vampires I rather have Vampires being Immune to Crosses and Wooden Stakes and entering without permission as well as entering Churches even if its out of character and it would bring more horror at the same time and having better vampires
