Yeah, I've been trying to fit in a FSM ref as far back as book 1's mall arc. It turns out that I couldn't have picked a better spot than now.

OMG! I just caught up on like, the past week's worth of pages, and, that was fucking nuts! First Sandy, gets captured, and then eaten, and now this? Wow, crazy!

lol and I like how the guys are sooooo intrested in filming this thing, when they're being, chased by a monster! Yeah, really shows you where their priorities are, huh? xd Staying alive? NO! Filming our possible demise? YES! lol xd

And didn't me and angelronin, tell you guys it'd be an octopus? We did! But, you wouldn't believe us, now wouldn't you? xd lol

lol xd Yeah, it looks like that Morgan is finally coming to terms w/ reality! Oh sure, it seems like it's all fun and games at first, but then when the monster actually starts chasing you, then it doesn't seem like it's so much fun, now doesn't it Morgan? XD LOL

I remember Scully having ice cream at the beginning of one episode (The UnnaturalÂ¹). Is that the reference or is there anything else to it?

However, the whole scene reminded me more of The Blob (1958, starring Steve McQueen) than of X-Files.
