Agreed and makes me dread the eventual downfall story we're likely to get.

I have to wonder if Zoe had any problems with Ingrid's previous naked cavorting with Sandra. I'm sure she'd remember her from the pictures, but maybe she decided not to pass up on someone who looks great and since Ingrid didn't have any image to protect prior to hiring it wasn't an issue.

Yeah, I can't see Marie keeping up that sort of life, after she's pushed away everyone that cared about her.

I was almost expecting this strip to be about Marie dropping out of school and slapping Alex on her way out.

Even if she didn't do the former, I can say with absolute certainty that her grades would plummet and she'd start a clique of shallow, but sexy girls.

I still don't get why Zoe was so pissed about Sandra and Ingrid. Yuri is the purest form of love/lust. Point is, it's such a non-issue biologically or genealogically that not even the Old Testament bothers to ban it.

Also, Ingrid's whole family are models, so she should know the business a little. I'm also curious to know her relationship with Zoe, maybe that's in the next strip.

It's the fact that it was another display of public nudity. One that didn't involve an entire club going skinny-dipping (which I guess is okay in Zoe's book)

Plus, it was photographed and uploaded. Not good for Sandra's image as a reputable model.

Things won't end well for Marie if she keeps going like that.

Another point re Ingrid's behaviour; Zoé could establish that Ingrid was at least sober that night. So she could presumably be rationally persuaded not to do anything too bad for her image once her career got underway, without having to work around a booze addiction.

Anyhow -- galloping forward through the plot... Because this is a comic, it doesn't actually violate "show don't tell", because we're being shown some things, but it would still have been nice to see this stuff play out at a slightly more moderate pace. Also, Ingrid has suddenly been transformed from a plot device to a proper character.

Typical English behavior, kicking a Swede out of France. They're always doing this sort of thing.

I thought that the traditional problem was Russians kicking Swedes out of Ukraine?

Well, the English kicked the Swedes out of Russia this year

Sandra returning may be what's needed to pull Marie back from the abyss. She may have cut everyone else off, but she could make time for her old idol.

Here's to hoping. And to hoping Eva won't warp Marie's perception of Sandra into the friend who just upped and disappeared without telling her.
