Why are fashion models looking at covers of gaming magazines?
Of course a real gaming magazine cover would be filled to saturation with various titles of the latest Medal of Duty: Creed of Warfare 3 titles.

Zoé is being efficient; how she does it is part of her mystique. And Eloise has been working in the games industry lately, whatever her regular line of employment.someone wrote:Why are fashion models looking at covers of gaming magazines?
There is that.Of course a real gaming magazine cover would be filled to saturation with various titles of the latest Medal of Duty: Creed of Warfare 3 titles.

For the aesthetic sake of this comic, I decided not to fill up the magazine with a bunch of gaming headlines and just have the one that corresponds to Sandra.

With Zoe, I suspect not the magazine per se, but her 'client's' (don't know the right word here) performance would need to be evaluated for further work.someone wrote:Why are fashion models looking at covers of gaming magazines?

With Eloise, like Spidrift said, she's checking out her industry, and find that she has competition. Seriously major competition, at that.

Are you implying gaming magazine covers are the sluts of the magazine cover world?
It's time to prove to your friends that you're worth a damn. Sometimes that means dying; sometimes that means killing a whole lot of people.

Sluts? If we're talking strapline promiscuity, those sorts of covers are tragical nymphomaniacs...Motorcycle wrote:Are you implying gaming magazine covers are the sluts of the magazine cover world?

Zoë would be getting a report from her cuttings agency - an organisation that collects and collates all media appearances of their clients (or in this case, their clients' clients).someone wrote:Why are fashion models looking at covers of gaming magazines?

So, will Eloise's girlfriend there be becoming a regular?
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Isn't the bracketting inconsistent ? Shouldn't it be the "Hmmmm qu'est-ce que ...?" between brackets and the "MY Tablet" without ?

No, speech which has been translated into English is in brackets; anything which isn't translated, either because it was English to start with or because foreign words are cool, is left unbracketed.
