I doubt that we'll ever get anything as prosaic as an explanation for Cammi's habit, but I guess she may have an actual eye condition that makes them hypersensitive or something...

I'd agree that it seems likely that Cammi may have some sort of medical condition... albinism's probably out, but can anyone think of anything that would cause acute photo-phobia or light sensitivity?

I'm no expert at all, but anything that stops the iris functioning properly could lead to too much light getting in. Trouble is, that sort of thing would surely also make her less than competent or legal as a driver.

If Dave01 does go for "medical reasons", I think it'll be Acute Comics Narrative Syndrome. Or A Cute Comics Narrative Syndrome.

as some have mentioned, if it was a sensitivity to the sun, or to bright lights, she would not be able to drive

A logical explanation would be no fun. "Cammi likes trolling people" is far more fun. And boy did she get Sandra good and hooked.

It doesn't seem like all sources of photophobia wold necessarily hamper vision so much as to disqualify someone from driving... I really can't think of any other reason why she's have darkened goggles on her at all times... This would have been quite the prank to plan in advance.
