RISQUE - Zgwortz. One day I'd love to start an adult sex education enterprise with you doing straight-forward, no-judgement sex-ed. You give common-sense advice and manage to talk of your own experiences without going into the realms of TMI.

Aw shucks...

Actually, I can't really take credit for a lot of that advice -- most of it comes from years of going to clubs and conferences which present, at least to some extent, the type of education you're talking about. Over time it sinks in and becomes commonplace, and I often forget that most people *never* get anything remotely like the kind of sex-ed I now take for granted. I think if more people did, we'd be a lot better off.

Every once in a while I have to be very thankful that, despite all the hang-ups this country has with sexuality, we still do have the freedom to legally have the conferences that we do. And I'm often tickled pink that some of the biggest ones are held in the center of our nation's capitol...

Zgwortz: I wish I'd been able to go to those conferences...most of what I know I had to figure out myself from emotional and physical experimentation. Although my education has taken a profound upward curve since I started my project, and started seeking out expert advice.

I just re-read the nominations, and I'd like to thank everyone who mentioned me. You're all so kind and complimentary, it's almost enough to make a girl blush.

Almost enough? I feel completely undeserving of being nominated. It... really surprises me, but I've never gotten this sort of recognition for my efforts... and how warm it makes me feel to know that I'm appreciated for what I do. Maybe even guilty for not doing more. It's also great hearing all of these warm mentions everyone has for everyone else, to see how we truly appreciate the diversity and the caring we have for one another.

Seriously though, I feel kinda bad for not submitting nominations myself, but whenever I look at the list I just throw up my hands and go "Hell if I know!" and then end up procrastinating and eventually forgetting about it till next time I have time to look at the forum (which in the last couple of weeks hasn't been much at all). Sometimes I feel like I really need a fire lit under my ass or someone to grab my head and go "JUST MAKE A DECISION ALREADY!!!"

Also, if someone could do that so I would finally submit my application to the Cedarburg Artist Guild too I'd appreciate it...
