For want of a better name... here we have the first Entire Month contest on the forum...

The Fan-Thing Contest!

What is the Fan-Thing Contest you ask? It's simple! The Fan-Thing Contest is a contest for you to enter all of your Fan-Things! Be it fan-art, fan-fic, fan-poem, fan-song or fan-anythingelseyoucanthinkof, your entry is completely up to you what it is!

The rules are... there are no rules! Okay.. thats a lie:

1. All Fan-Thing enteries have to be related to the Ma3 comic and strip.
2. In the interest of fair-ness, only one entry per person and only of one type of Fan-Thing.
3. Fan-fics can be no more then 500 words (We will check!) and any Fan-video's no more then 3 minutes long. Similarly Fan-comic strips to be no more then 8 panels.

Other then that you have free licence to let your imagination run wild and create whatever artwork or prose that your mind can design!

The entry period is all month until the 27th, and voting will take place over the last four days of the month.

I did a little haiku

Oh, the crazy antics of
A Menage a 3

Hallo. I didn't want to go to sleep without posting, but I've had to face facts that staying up any longer is going to be seriously detrimental to my health and mental capacities at work tomorrow. So. I have decided to post my WIP, as it's better than nothing. I plan to finish the rest of the shading to make Didi and Gary look as nice as Zii tomorrow. But in the meantime, here are my Ma3 chibis.

This is a very shortened version of what I originally had in mind, due to time issues mainly ;)

Enjoy a hopefully somewhat creative fan poem!

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I browsed bored and weary,
throughout many quaint and curious comics in the web's far reach,
While I read them, ever blinking, suddenly there came a linking
as of something gently winking, winking at my eyes so sore.
"'Tis some new comic", I muttered, winking at my eyes so sore -
only this - or is it more?

It is. Distinctly I remember it was not in bleak December,
neither was it in November, it was no sooner and no later:
in March I found Menage á Trois, I never thought that a faux-pas.
So now I'm still here, one year later, never will I be a hater,
my love for the cast - bi, gay, straighter - , in fact has ne'er been greater,
so I'll take a look back, now, not later.

When we met Gary, he looked down, his face was wrinkled in a frown,
when he got home, his jaw fell down as he surprised his roommates - oooh.
Matt and Dillon were their names, they had been playing more than games,
and in that, abandoned all their shames. Abandoned then poor Gary, too -
their coming out also their cue to tell him that they'd move out - poo!
Now Gary needed roommates new.

But Matt and Dillon, in foresight, had already thought to write,
an ad for Gary, how polite! Now it was up to Gary who to pick.
The first applicants - just catastrophes - was all it took to get to Zii's
appearance as a cuteish punk rock chick convinced Gary pretty quick -
to let her move in and she did - faster than the fastest conj'ring trick.
The cast now had its first hot chick.

And since we all know one is none, Zii was rather fast outdone
at least in terms of size by fun - bags of hot chick number two,
thus Didi we were introduced to. Also to her most prominent
traits which, plus cooking and a rather impressed, hungry Zii
quickly made her roommate three. 'twas the end of Chapter one, you see?
The rest? Well that is history.

And even if I wanted to tell you all 'bout Chapter two,
it's just that from my point of view, you really should go off and read
the comic for yourself, I plead. Spread it, add it to your feed!
You really should not just ignore the fun and art it has in store!
Dave and Giz, talent galore, created something I adore!
I shall be reading evermore!
