Okay.. so I'm a little late with this due to internet problems and other stuff but ahem... Anyway...

Its Pi Day! Today is the day that we celebrate everyones favourite irrational number... Pi! Today is also Albert Einsteins Birthday. So in double celebrations, todays mini-contest will have no rules! Okay.. just kidding there, it has rules

The one day (24 hours until 6pm GMT, Sunday the 15th of March) mini contest will involve all things Pi / Pie and geeky! Post a Pi/Pie related picture, story, video, photo, or an impression of yourself as Einstien doing something Pi/e related!. Its irrational as its up to you to do whatever you want so long as its related to the day. Have fun! There will be a prize award based on complex and irrational calculations... and hidden Beary-mod preferences ;)

Rachel Maddow on MSNBC last night was talking about Pi day, and figured out what pi second was based on the ratio.

Incidentally, based on the estimate of 3.1415926, pi second was at 3:23:53.6 AM

OH! And the online class information site for Ohio State http://carmen.osu.edu/ changes the log in button for pi day, last year it would morph into a pie, this year it is they symbol π, which morphs into 3.14 when you mouse over it.

I celebrate it by Pi-ing, not in my pants, but without my T-Shirt!



And also singing... "It's Pi Day I'm in love!"



For extra geek points, Pi was done in binary!

Not even gonna try to top CS (or Dons) entrys with a pic, so I attempted something different, I translated the first 24 decimals in pi to the first nine tones in the A minor pentatonic scale(first position). But I didn't bother trying to record it cause it sounds like... well like what it is, random tones from a scale put together.
