SEPTEMBER CONTEST DISCUSSION (Thingy Voting Up)

With other issues popping up, we've kind of been slow on the upkeep of this months contest. Sorry about that.

We've had the idea to change the Cutest Forumite Contest into a Cutest Thingies contest. All mods are for the change, where forumites will be able to take pictures of cute stuff and show it off for the contest. However, we're split on whether the classical pictures of forumites should still be allowed. And so that decision comes up to you. Would you like to allow classic entries, those being pictures of forumites, in this new revamped Cute Thingies contest? Or do you feel that would create an unfair advantage?

I've made this a poll so it's easier to see how this is going.

Edit: Poll deleted as contest started several days ago. Teach :)
Edit 2: Poll result was 17 to 6 in favour of including personal pics in the Contest :-B Teach :)

Edit 3: Voting is now up!! The vote for the "classic" cutest forumite is in the entry thread, and the vote for the cutest forumite thingy is in this thread!! You have one option in each case, and three days to vote!! :D

All this democracy here is scary. :P

Personally, I am for allowing classic pics.

concerning what the cute things might be, I also thought pics of pets would be a good idea. One important point to stress is that the entries must be pics taken by the forumite entering the contest, and, I guess (DISCUSS!) of thing they more or less own. So please no grabbing anything off the internetz!

And I agree with Don that the entry pic has to be taken by the person entering the contest.
Yes, it is as bad as you think, and they are out to get you

Everything is significant until proven otherwise.
