I like that we only have four entries and two only bothered to follow the rules. :))

How do you figure only two? /:)

You submitted two separate haikus, unless you can show that the two haikus you submitted have anything to do with each other and thus constitute "verses", and the other guy submitted four. The rules say you can enter exactly one haiku, with three verses (which by definition means they must be related somehow). I don't care, really, I just thought it was funny that such a high percentage of the contestants in this decided to double (or more) dip.

both of mine deal with the Gisele-verse. That's close enough for my give-a-fuck. :p

The Crab Nebula
Epitaph of a dead star
Source of creation

Magnetic lines flow
Jupiter blasts radiation
Pioneer observes

Both fall under the heading of "Space Stuff", but they aren't exactly related in theme or content as to represent a single poem together.

Eh, I don't care that much. If it's fine with the judges, I'm cool.

Color me confuzzled. :-\

I first thought you had posted in the wrong thread, since this seems to be an entry.

But then I saw you already have an entry.

So: whu?

I was giving an example of a set of haikus that I wouldn't consider being part of the same poem, even though they both are "space things".

Gil is going through argument withdrawl and is therefore picking nits with other people's entries. :p

Well you fixed that but the third line of your first stanza only has four syllables. :-? Unless that's supposed to be Désirée, of course, then you're good.

Nice play on words in the first stanza, Rad.

But, am I mistaken, or have you put the third stanza as a 6-7-6?

First one is five but the third does have six.
