I didn't think the vote-changing thing was that big a deal...

There's an option on the forum I run where you can change your vote(s) if you wanted to. Freedom of choice, doesn't matter to me, so long as they make their final decisions by the deadline.

Actually, vote changing last time was a major headache since early leaders lost votes, and people who had few got even fewer towards the end... is why I locked it from the start this time around.... Someone better vote though as I'm ticked off, Don had a clear lead before all this mess and ties give me a headache as I wanted this wrapped up on X-mas Eve.

For once, I must fully agree with the beary-mod. :P

I had 13 votes before Pneu was removed, and now I have less and it's tie with thaldin. :-\

Hahaha!

I admit, I had to change the order of my vote after Pneu left.

That's silly, though.

If a voter wants to change their vote for whatever given reason, then why shouldn't they be able to? This is the internet, guys, we can set our shit to where we can retract our votes if we want to. So what if someone loses their lead? That's just politics for you.

Besides...I mean, it's not like you have to actually tally the votes up yourself, Bear. They're all already tallied up for you.

And it would be less of a hassle for you if you didn't have to lock and unlock polls for people because they made a common little mistake. Just lock it down when the time's up, if they don't have their votes in, then that's just bad timing on their part.

Just seems somewhat of a controlling rule to me, that's all. Not making a fuss, just making an opinion -- one that's always worked out for everyone in my experiences.

Don: it wasn't even a proper entry :P

i wonder how high on the ebilmetre constantly changing the votes would rate... it would probably make someone go Berserker on us

I would think a Bear is permanentely berserk in the original meaning of the word, IIRC ("clothed in bear-skin")... ;)

Well... A one-point lead... *sweat*

Seeing I voted for thaldin myself... b-(

I'm still annoyed as he had a 5 point lead before which meant no possible headache for me.

Well, if my one-point lead holds until tonight, then you still get no headache. "An inch is as good as a mile."

I am back to the 13 votes I had originally, at least.
