I don't think supernatural threats is really on her mind. At most, she's probably weireded out by it. I think it will still be a while before she connects Nick's personality changes with the supernatural.

I think taht in some beliefs, silk has some supernatural isulating properties... or is just soft and won't scratch up the locket. ;)
