Ah, Suki, you amusingly simple minded soul. :))

Never change, Sook, never change.

So the question becomes: "Where do the mothmen go from here?"

Their race has been erradicated to where it teeters on the brink of extinction, including the majority of the eggs Steph laid for them, and their homeworld has just gone the way of Alderann. Unless she's planning to remain with them to establish a new colony somewhere and hatch a new brood - how are they gonna recover?

Are there even enough of them to start again? If Stephs tries to breed with the handful of males that are left, wouldn't their tiny gene pool be a problem?

I guess they coud find other human or cryptid females to breed with, but even then, all the Mothman genetic material would come from that same little handful of survivors. It seem they are damned to either inbreed themselves to extinction, or dilute their blood until extinction.
