They seem to be having a disporportionate number of time jumps into Lori's vicinity, if you include the first one.

OK. It's official. I'm confused (or senile, not sure which. Could be both.). Only counted one Suki in the previous strip and neither of her companions are named "Masters". Is Lori including the mugwump in the party? And counting the mugwump as one of her originators? If so, EUWW!?!

The fact that Leonard and Katie also played a part in turning Lori into a Vampire may have influenced her choice of words.

Ok, and now another sign of how weird I am.

I look at this and notice Lori's sidearm has a screwed on grip, and then think "why isnt the future military using molded polymer frames?"

Because at this point Lori is two days older than dirt and prefers a more traditional piece?

I have no idea what is going on anymore but Shelfers art continues to impress me.

Looks like Lori in time, inbetween the various jumps, have learned the full truth about her "creation"... still an open question as to who and especially when since we have, by now, spanned several thousand years and probably alternate timelines etc. ...

Mayne we're seeing Lori so much because of her link with Suki now?

Still, would be nice to see Char or the former B Squad again.

So we're just gonna gloss over the Bugs with no explanation as to how they look like, what in this world, are supposed to be fictional monsters? *sighs* I know it's just a comic and I should just relax, but the MST3K matra can only go so far.

Why would you need an explanation? Obviously the Bugs are some sort of alien, a la Starship Troopers. Not sure if the Bugs are invaders or being invaded, but does it really matter?

They don't LOOK like the bugs from Starship Troopers, they ARE the bugs from Starship Troopers. That's what has me annoyed. It just removes me from the story wondering what the eff these things are doing here.

Well, just remember, from her pov she hasnt seen Lori in months. The other times she was around her she was either unconscilus or frenzied. So that's nkt fallen in love, but happy to see her.
