On the likability scale, while all the VC members are rather amoral to greater or lesser extent, all of them do have some redeeming characteristics:

Lori: She does have definite empathy for her team, has even shown some decency to Leonard on occasion. And while it's more out of pragmatism than compassion, she has tried to keep (at least in modern day) any damage she and the other do to an absolute minimum where possible.

Zoe: Is fairly levelheaded and while she and Suki fight like cats and dogs, she does truly care about her well being.

Heather: A lot of her immorality is basically her being a rebellious teenager who was given the ability to literally ignore parental boundaries via supernatural ability, and she's done some pretty crappy, horrible things power tripping, no questions asked. Regardless, she still has enough remaining humanity she convinced Lori to surrender rather than see the VC squad or anyone else have to die or get further hurt.

Lesley: The peacemaker of the group, also the least likely to abuse her vampiric powers and then act like a bitch about it (hi Heather!). Not that's she averse to using them, just that's she not as compelled to be drunk off her own power. She also tends to be the nicest of the VC girls even at her worst.

Suki: On the surface, she's a callous bimbo who is seemingly too stupid to live, cat fights with Zoe constantly, and is the biggest hedonist of them all. On the other hand, she has little to no pretension about her hedonism (probably the most refreshingly honest about it of them all), truly cares for the others when the chips are down (in her own way), and does care for Zoe, regardless of their disagreements.

The thing about Suki is, unlike the other VC we have watched her being a nice to other people besides her fellow vampires and feeling empathy for strangers. And on the other hand, we have never watched the really bad things she supposedly did as a vampire, and she can be more easily forgiven for being a blood-sucking parasite because she's s so dumb you can believe that she can't see why assaulting people for their blood is a bad thing.

We know that Lori turns girls into vampires in order to fulfill an incredibly petty ambition, and that Heather enslaves and feeds on her family, and have never watched them being really good.
