They haven't, that's what he's saying.

Hmm. Is she really dead? Maybe that's how she got turned? Are vampires undead in this setting?

They don't appear to have faded any more than before, so perhaps an alternate reality's building itself? As for Lori, we know from Heather's experience that a bite is required to 'turn' someone, but we haven't had any details on the specifics (other than what proportion or blood you need to suck to kill someone). It's almost certain vampires can eat and digest 'normal' food (Leonard would have noticed if they didn't when he was observing Heather), but blood definitely seems to provide nutritional benefits as well as being a craving.

Whether there's a single vampire species in this universe or two (the Delacroixes from EC being the other species) is up for debate - Layla implies that Charybdis Heights is warded to protect them from the sun during the daytime, but crossing the entry gates during daylight would result in "vampire flambé" - however by Volume 1 the sisters are seen in open daylight (so either retcon or magic). Neither sister appears to frequent tanning salons or slap on fake tans.

That's bad. Or at the very least, confusing.

Eerie Cuties' vampires are born and age.

Vampire Cheerleaders' vamps are made and don't age.

Hmmm, Wossname would have needed some of Suki's blood to become a vampire, right ?

We were having a "Back to the Future" moment there, until they pulled Suki off. I think if they had not done it, our queen cheerleader would have been totally dead instead of being turned into a vampire. (And yes, I think this is how history is meant to unfold; although I'm unsure if the circle will be closed later...)

I have a question. If a relatively elderly (say mid 50's to 60's) person were turned into a VC vampire, are they locked at that age?

Damn.

I don't want to be locked in my 40's.

I guess I'll just have to make a clone of Heather, put myself in that body, and then get turned into a vampire.^_^
