I was amusing myself reading this page on TVTropes, partly because I admit I've got a long list for myself. As I am sure I am not alone there, who else has a fictional character crush that you'd happily cross into a fictional world to have?

As for me, "I have this list, you see...." :x

Chloe needs to grow up... fast....
I'd love to make Velma Dinkley say "Jinkies" on a regular basis...
Mizuno Ami AND/OR Kino Makoto
Kitty Pryde
Rachel Summers
Hermione, Ginny or Luna
The Baroness
Agatha Hetrodyne
Raven (Teen Titans)

I'm sure I'll add many more later... Yes, I am pitifull... L-) ;) :D

ETA:
Sophitia
Lady Sylvanus
Jania Prodemore
.....

You know, I think everyone has, or has had a crush on a fictional character at some point... I can't think of any of my own right now as I've grown out of them... but I'm surprised you didn't mention Jessica Rabbit. ;)

... She's fine the way she is now. (I think she's like 15.)

The actress is actually 16 now.

I was talking about the character in the movie. :P Who was supposed to be like 13,14.

That's what this seems to be about.

Oh right. Totally would the girl in the movie. Also the character she plays in Race to Witch Mountain.

I can only think about two right now:
Lisbeth Salander, a character from a Swedish book/movie by Stieg Larsson.
Kim Bauer from 24, at least while I watched the first two seasons.

Can't believe I missed Kaylee in my opening. #-o Of course, the other three ladies would not get an argument out of me either. :ymblushing:

Not to mention Saffron/Yolanda/whatever... :P

But KayLee... Not only is she stunningly beautiful, she is totally geeky without really noticing it, and has a totally wonderful childlike innocence and optimism that just makes me want to huggle and protect her. :x

That's just... my kind of girl! :ymblushing:

I had a mad-terrible crush on Ghost from the Enter the Matrix game. He has a massive unrequited thing for Trinity in the story of the game, and there was me playing the game thinking, "You don't need to be celibate, Ghosty! I'll rape you!"

I don't know about love, but almost seven years onward and I'd still break his celibacy pact with himself if I had the chance.

If you mean the characters of World of Warcraft... Their names are Sylvanas Windrunner and Jaina Proudmoore... And I am seriously hoping that you mean Lady Sylvanas from when she was not turned into an undead yet...
I do have to admit though, Sylvanas has among the best singing voices that I have ever heard, especially considering it's not entirely impossible that her vocal cords may have damaged by rotting, which makes her singing abilities all the more awesome.

Good Lord how much space do we have? Seems like in any story I read/watch I can find someone to like/crush on. Not sure what that says about me but then I really don't care. :p

First most and forever: Nausicaa, of course.

But then there is Willow. (and Michelle, and Lily, and Suzie etc..,) In fact Alyson Hannigan may be the singular case of my having a crush as much on the actress herself as that the character she portrays. Almost invariably it is otherwise the character.

Some of those that have been metioned; Kaylee and Raven among them. But also River Tam, she was intelligent and quirky, I liked her. She could also probably stuff me up my own arse. :p

Others, :-? hmmmmm, a short list off the top of my head:

Gabrielle
Talia
Veronica Mars, I really would have liked to see where this series went. Corporate Bastards.
Akane Tendo
Casca
Rosette Christopher
Yomiko Readman
Haruno Sakura
Lina Inverse
Yumi Ishiyama
Blue Green
Harley Quinn
Abby Sciuto
Ziva David
Max Guevara

Hell I'll just stop there. I'm sure you get the picture. :p

Books

The first fictional character I read and instantly had a crush on was "Menolly" from Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. Independent, tomboy, and talented? When it was later revealed that she'd always had a private love for Masterharper Robinton, I think that her ability to see beyond the difference of their years and how they were in many way soulmates... yeah, she's still strong in the back of my mind despite having read her for the first time over 25 years ago.

When I went back and re-read Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series as a teen, I realized that I was exceptionally fond of "Eilonwy" as well. Strawberry blonde, smart, and sassy... but needing Taran as an anchor in life just enough that she wasn't overly precocious.

More recently, reading Guy Gavriel Kay's Ysabel there was the character of Melanie (no, it's not something about the name... I actually have a very negative association with this name, but the character rose about that for me.) Impish, flirtatious, a bundle of playfulness in a petite statured package. She's stuck in my mind as someone I'd like to meet in person... and ask out. ;)

Television & Cartoons

I'm going to have to jump in and join the love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "Willow Rosenberg". Being a guy watching the show, there aren't a lot of guys for one to identify with except for Xander... and I've gotten into actual discussions about how different many things might have gone if only Xander had leaned over and kissed Willow at the beginning of the second season.

And like others, I too felt the bookish but cutely be-freckled "Velma" was far more interesting than old "Danger Prone Daphne".

However, the biggest crush I've had on a fictional character (which is odd, considering in her original appearance she didn't have a single line) was "Tinkerbell" from Peter Pan. I don't think it's a coincidence that Peter Pan happens to be the first movie I saw as a child. She's plucky and fiery, and if only silly Peter was older he'd might not've been such a brat to her sometimes. It was a bit of a shock reading the book and seeing how the characters were originally written - Peter, a borderline bully, and Tink as nearly a homicidal shrew - but I still grin when I see someone else wearing a Tinkerbell t-shirt or such.

Oh, wow...let me think...

A not at all complete list:

I've had a bit of a thing for Lisa Hayes since I was a kid.
Rikku from FFX/FFX-2 is highly age inappropriate (15 in the first game, 17 in the second - it was less inappropriate when the games came out...), but her voice makes me weak in the knees - and she's cute as hell.
Similarly, Raven from the Teen Titans cartoon. (Tara Strong is lovely...) The goth chick thing? Major bonus.
On which note...Black Alice, from Gail Simone's Birds of Prey and Secret Six.
Willow's been mentioned, but...uhm...I fell pretty hard for Dawn when she was introduced. (I could never bring myself to take Willow away from Tara!)
Yeah, I seem to have a thing for girls who are rather too young for me... ;_;
Less likely to get me locked up, as she's supposed to be in her 20s, is Frankie from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.
There's also Barbara Gordon (Oracle era, primarily).
Ice (of the Justice League).

Totally, totally eff'd up one: I am COMPLETELY hot for Tira, from Soul Cal III and IV. And I want her in a way that's completely in character for her...and if you know the character...
[Edit - on a similar note - Cheetah, from Wonder Woman...there's one scene where she breaks Wally West's legs, and implies a threatened rape before his accelerated healing allows him to escape. I thought that was the hottest scene I'd ever read in a non-porn comic. And I wasn't imagining being in Cheetah's place, either.]

I'm not sure if it's a crush, or just a desire to protect and comfort him, but Demyx stirs my heart. Luxord, on the other hand, is pure lust.
I don't think there's a comic book fan on Earth who has even the slightest attraction toward guys who doesn't want Nightcrawler. (And if you don't have that attraction, he'll GIVE it to you.)
