The Cranky Couch.

Post by Bear »

Because sometimes we all need somewhere to let off a little steam, or have a good rant about things that annoy us that aren't exactly pet peeves or things that have happened during our day or other stuff... The Bear-Mod Construction Crew presents the Cranky Couch... or, The big cave filled with bug fluffy couches thats well soundproofed and has hot chocolate on tap.

Want to rant, get something off your chest, or generally be a grump? Do it over here.

And our first rant... won't be happening from me. I'm generally grumpy and annoyed with the world right now, but I'm not grumpy enough to vent at the moment... So, I'm just going to leave this thread built here and go off and smite some things....

...lousey world...

Is it acceptable to offer huggles to the grumpy people here? Or is this thread restricted to grouching and ranting?

First rant:
I'm sick of some people's all or none attitude!!!
I try to meet people halfway but they just bitch and moan about me not trying to help them.
Fuck that shit.
Also pissed off at friends who will complain about you behind your back but not say anything to your face. jesus, if you don't like the person it's as simple as telling them to remove them from your sights. Is it really that hard to tell someone who annoys you to go away?

Aww, but I'm so good at it. ;;)

But you want cranky... ok, I can do that too. How about this?

My boyfriend and I were late leaving the apartment this morning to go to work because we got into yet another hypothetical "if we have kids" discussion where I feel like I have to defend my not quite traditional views on the subject against his unexamined, "this is how I was raised and I didn't turn out too bad", ridiculously traditional middle class religious upbringing colored views on the subject. And this one got kicked off by him taking something I said as an insult so that he was coming from a defensive position as well. So. Much. Fun. That. I. Just. Want. To. Tear. Out. My. Womb. With. A. Spork.

*loans spork* Religious people are crazy.

Don't they know Baconianism is the only true religion? Well... After Bear-Worship.

Some religious people are crazy, not all. And he's not really one of the crazy ones. The only reason I threw that in there was because it did influence his upbringing. He's part of one of those families who actually go to church regularly and stuff.

I stand by my first statement... don't they realise sundays are for sleeping in? Even God did that.

Bear, that was awesome. I can't believe I never thought of it that way. Although it does remind me of something I read once: "sleep is god, go worship"

I...don't have anything to rant about. I'm usually not a cranky guy.
Yes, it is as bad as you think, and they are out to get you

hmm.....there was a quite a bit of drama going on at work today, which was annoying, but other than that I'm just sleepy, not cranky.

my family's kinda religious.....and by that I mean that we do go to church, but not every single week (not even close). When we go early, we get bribed with donuts after :p
