A choice of skin would be nice. I know many users (not me - yuck) like dark themes. I like light ones, but blue is basic and every forum ever made has this as their default. Perhaps a nice green and white? There was one called Green Evo, I saw elsewhere that was brilliant :)

Monthly contests would be good. Have them each be for various things, run for 3 weeks, vote for a week, winner(d) announced the day before the next one. Just some ideas:

Best Pets (Can be cute, nasty, big, small, whatever)
Best Body (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Some like big muscles, some like beary-figured people! And so on)
Best Outfit (one entry each only! multiple angles allowed)
Best Pose

We're still trying to work on a colour that fits Ma3 and looks good, but with the weird way phpBB colour code their forums its hard to settle on one that looks all roundly good.

As for contests... I was planning perhaps bi-monthly so people appreciate them more when they happen, and with our smallish number of posters, everyone would have won after a year which makes if they win multiple contests kinda difficult to organise as with a best body contest for instance, its kinda obvious Midget would possibly win that one too.

However, we may have a cutest butt contest in future to honour Zii.

That's a good idea! :D

Yeah, bi-monthly would be better, come to think of it. I was just shooting ideas out there!

Don't be so sure! I'm sure there are a few people (men AND women) who could teach him a thing or two!

Best breast contest, anyone? ;)

Sorry to pluck the same harp, but this does seem the thread for it - the hunger awareness ads are definitely interfering with the functionality of the forums. The obnoxious thing is that it logs as a pageview despite not showing the page, which means when you click the "jump to new posts" icon and that ad shows up you'll have to go digging for new posts.
Further affiant sayeth not.

Hmm... I can't confirm that Pneu as I've yet to see that add... but I'll pass it in to Giz.

And I think that best breast contest would put the rating up past 18, offend some of the women, and make the guys complain because they can't enter.

I have observed the same behavior on that ad. I haven’t examined the source for the page to try to determine the cause but the adfeeder should be notified to check the code on that ad at once. It may be messing up more forums than just PTC's.

Get FireFox. i can't see any ads :)

Why would it be 18+? Is The Sun 18+? Are FHM, Loaded, Zoo, Nuts, etc? It's 14+. 16+ if you have high moral standards. This is a 16+ forum. And sure guys could enter. Pectorals are in the breast region for males, so if someone had impressive ones...or moobs...they could enter! :) I'm a giving kinda guy ;)

It'd also run into the problem of the possibility of risque shots, especially those by persons whose age makes those kinds of shots questionable. When a bathing suit photo can be called "child pornography" in some areas of the world, and where nudity is considered a horrible sexual crime in others, cowardice is the better part of discretion (much as it shames me to admit it).

There's always anonymous shots. But I agree that a competition centered within such controversial boundaries is probably left untested. But everyone has a butt, so the cutest butt contest I'm all for! Besides, the best asses don't need to be seen unclothed. :))

Well Giz approved of the Cutest Butt contest, so keep an eye out for that in the not so distant future ;)

I fail to see how an arse contest differs from a breasts/appearance contest in any way. If anything, it's more revealing due to the proximity of genitalia. But nevertheless, provided our female populace enters, I'll be content! :P

Alright, I just cycled through 17 consecutive page-loads with that "Feeding America" ad banner, and not a single one of them loaded the actual page. The "just use Firefox" solution for multiple reasons (Firefox's relative merits among them). I don't know whose ad cycle it is because it won't show me the adlink when I mouse over it, but somebody needs to either notify the ad provider that the ad is faulty or somebody needs to get rid of the ad provider.
