I am sleeping on the floor right now Well.. on a mattress on the floor.

I had no idea that the bed I picked would sit so high, which is the main problem. It seemed okay with just the frame but the mattress sits high and.. yeah. We're debating on storing the bed frame and just using the mattress but storage units cost a lot I may move to the spare room and use my room for guests but again, it's kind of a jump for him, though it's better than the current one. I don't exactly have a lot of room in my current bedroom for a ramp or stairs. Again, the bed frame is pretty large. I'm sure we'll discuss it and try to decide this weekend.

I may end up just keeping the mattress of the other bed on the floor like I've been doing I really don't know. I did get joint supplements and food that's supposed to be aimed for senior dogs. We'll see how that helps.

Here's hoping a solution is found and he stays comfortable.

Oh btw, we found the family of the cat we rescued. it had wandered off and gotten lost, if we hadnt found it however it would have remained so and not survived for long.

This is the little cat of a PhD student in my group that I got to meet yesterday. Nervous ball of energy, Loved my shoes and rolled all around on them.

SO! The owner of Jasmin - see above - took in a new kitten two days ago. Named her Lily, six weeks old and she is CUTENESS WEAPONIZED!!! Behold!
Jasmin was NOT happy. Threw hissy fits for hours and bit and clawed and was generally much displeased.
I also bought the two cats a catnip pillow yesterday. Jasmin first claimed it for herself and made sweet sweet love to it, but later Lily discovered the toy and went wild for it and tainted the pillow forever!!!

Someone likes their black cats, I see. We approve. >^.^<

Oh, and I love my vet. They have been very patient with my father. His cat has very early stage kidney failure. The cat is 15, so pretty old. They've helped him learn how to give the cat saline, which will help keep him healthy for a while

My Jane is almost an adult now. Neither she nor her brother seem to like the summer heat. I certainly understand.

Alas, not mine. They belong to the mom of the wife of a friend of mine. I only learned of them today. They are soooooo chill. Velvet (a tomcat) weighs 22 pounds!

That is a big, big kitty.
