Even Lita's freaked out by this movie - what's funny is my cat like to burrow under covers, too.

I've had an experience very close to Didi's and Zii's before. (No, I'm not trying to be naughty and talk abou the "Safe Zone". ;) ) I was watching the original Hellraiser on a big screen television in a basement, most of the way through the movie, when all the sudden the power went out. It's creepy to have the power go out during a horror movie, but let me tell you - there is NOTHING creepier than the power going out and leaving you in the complete and utter darkness of a basement while watching a horror movie.

And I'm wondering if Gary is going to wake up to the screaming, not understand why there's no lights, still a bit dazed so not realizing he's naked (or, it's too dark to find his clothes!), and coming out just as the lights come on. Cue the surprised Didi and Zii as they're suddenly catching a full on view of Gary stark naked, right before he dies of embarrassment.

It's funny because I also dip my face in boobies pretending to be scared/sleepy.

Also, i watched rec yesterday, and myt reaction to Angela was similar to Zii.

I'm convinced DiDi has selectively sensitive boobs, since she (presumibly) enjoys them being touched during sex to heighten sensation, but doesn't seem to exhibit any kind of reaction when Zii clenches onto them with a grip like a workshop table vice.

Or perhaps she just doesn't mind the latter ;)

Have to love Lita

Ebil kitties being scared are great. Just would have been nice to see Lita's eyes freaking out in the last panels too, but thats my only complaint about this strip.

I think that DnE might have pretty much nailed it with the Gary waking up and not realising he's naked bit... Though, with the dark and stormy night outside, I can see the old horror movie staple of the thudding knock at the door and the lightening flash illuminating the shadowy figure bit.

The only thing that would be worse was if the television would, for reasons unknown, continue to show the climax!

@Fen: I've seen they are making Rec2, and Angela Vidal shall return. The only question is: In what state???

Just like in the latest Alien versus Predator movie. NOOOO CUTE BLONDE DON'T RUN INTO THE HALLWAY WHERE THE PREDATOR IS THROWING AROUND WITH SHARP BOOMERANGS *Zzzzing, splat, blargh girl ded* goddammit

Anyways nice work, Zii surely knows were to find the safest places to hide

The Lita eye-cover makes this for me. Even for an evil feline, it's just too cute. I think the front door knock, with lightning in the background to silhouette the landlady is what's going to happen. And Will have just woken up and stumbling around in the dark when Didi opens the door and suddenly the lights come on. Or they all stumble in the dark and Gary runs into them.

The funny thing was that after the movie finished i made a comment about how they could make infinite sequels out of it because it's so easily spread and the zombies never die(shot 3 times-lived, neck sprained-lived, bled to death-lived, hadn't eaten in years-lived).
then I saw the announcement for the sequel. Should be interesting.

Oh dear, workshop table vice?

That sounds so painful! If it's that strong she might as well be numb!
