Ah, the "if you have it then I want it" scenario.

Julian, when people cut family members out of their lives, they usually have a reason.

From her use of the term "Baby bro" , and the revelation that she stole from him as a kid with little remorse, I think Sharon carries herself as being"better" than her brother, and that she is entitled to what she wants even if it comes at his expense.

Can a character be any more unidimensional than Sharon?

Also why are so many of the people in this universe casually cruel to each other?

She's not necessarily one dimensional but she IS a spoiled brat. She and Tracy should get along splendidly.

Why do I see her trying to nudge herself into photo shoot? I mean, her proportions are definitely worthy of a superheroine... if not her personality. More... supervillainess...

Casual cruelty = comedy in Montreal, I guess. It also reinforces her selfishness and pettiness. Also makes one wonder if she was always a bitch from birth of if she had to work on it.

And as for her and Tracy: both like getting what they want. But Tracy has a special kind of single-minded crazy which we haven't seen Sharon display. I am sure Tracy is used to the prima donna 'god's gift' types from her porn friends, and is trying to see past that part of Sharon. They might be friendly, but Tracy never struck me as the intentionally cruel kind... more the self-centered kind.

This is like if Chloe had been the demon from hell she was always *supposed* to be!

I wonder why there hasn't been a new strip uploaded since September.

Are they? The joke with DiDi was that she was too stupid to realise that she was, basically, utterly self-obsessed (I would just say "evil" but the creators apparently disagree), and people like Nathan are comedy bad bosses, but mostly in the past we've just seen comedy-unthinkingness, comedy-pranks, and mild comedy-selfishness. If a character realised that they were doing something seriously nasty to someone else, they'd generally stop and apologise. I don't remember many characters flashing this sort of Republic Serial Villain bwah-hah-hah meanness.

Except that spoiled characters generally have to be spoiled by somebody. Aaron, for all his faults, doesn't generally give the impression of coming from that sort of background.

Unless of course their parents spoiled Sharon because she was a girl, or something. (Almost the way that DiDi was apparently spoiled, come to think of it.) Given the criminally incompetent level of parenting skills in the setting, that is actually possible.

Eesh. Both the characters and readers might want to give Aaron a bit more credit; Sharon really is rather unpleasant.

I can see her seducing that guy she was in bed with when Julian's friend request came through in the same context as robbing her own brother of what does represent a considerable financial investment...

One wonders if Giz is deliberately making her completely unlikeable, or whether the writing has overshot here. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Aaron... if you kill er now and show a recording of that comment, not a judge in the world would convict you, especially if they've had siblings themselves...

I had something like this happen to me when I was a child, but it was my younger brother in kindergarten trading my GI Joe stuff for stuff he wanted, not a young adult ganking my comic book collection.
