Ok so she's a giant hypocrite. Two guys is just fine but all girls is too far.

Those in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones; we all know that Ramona wouldn't bat an eye if it was three hot guys instead of girls in the tub. That said, Aaron is letting his fanfic side show with an out of character "sexy time bath."
Perhaps save the skinship for his private collection... or if it gets an anime adaptation. Either way. :))

Lady, if you appreciate the appeal of yaoi then you have to understand the appeal of yuri as well.

I'm not seeing what part of that is so glare-worthy when I guarantee you the real-life comic-book industry has done things ten times as objectifying and objectionable as this.

Agreed.

Everyone knows that there are three "B" pillars to selling a successful comic: big boots, big butts, and big boobs. Aaron is just erecting a fourth "B" pillar... Bubbles. Officer thinking, sir.

Well, at least he's got good characters and a concept for the story, and the artwork looks good.
Now he just needs some editorial guidance.

Do you see any men in that tub? If Aaron includes such a scene then it’s equal opportunity, but we know he’s not mature enough to do that.

Perhaps the problem is they want this to be more of a general interest superhero comic rather than yuri? Also, if a bubble-bath threesome is canon, what's left for the fan-artists to draw? (Do I want to know?)

Don't worry, the fan artists will continue to draw the bubble bath scenes.

That said, nice to see others picked up on Ramona's about face, when it comes to yuri versus yaoi.

They will slop that bubble bath water all over the floor! No wonder Ramona has a problem with that scene. ;)

I think it was the bubble censorship that only changed the color of things and not the shapes.

I think that the point is that there's a point where "fanservice" tips over into "porn", and the former is okay while the latter is sleazy. Now, you can argue about where that line should be, or suspect that Ramona hypocritically puts the line in different places for male and female characters (and in that case, you can also wonder if the writer is conscious of the character's hypocrisy), but if you recognise the difference, the joke is that Aaron takes a hormone-fueled charge at the boundary and runs right over it.

Other people can deny that the boundary exists, and say either that sexual "fanservice" is just low-level porn, or that porn is never sleazy, but that's a different argument.

the bathtub scene would work really well in the context of the PTC universe
if it were the two "bumbling sidekicks" slavishly cleaning Gwynn
and then Aaron had to answer to the empowered ladies that set him up with the idea in the first place
