My two favorite things about this strip?

1 - the use of the word "kitsch". Ah, would make my German great-grandparents proud. Maybe not its association with porn, but just using it.
2 - the glaring figure of the Tim Horton's worker in the background of panel #3. Brilliant!

Mind you, I think for Gary, this will be very good for him. In Zii, he'll have a female friend he can now potentially talk about sex, and girls, and all these things that perhaps he doesn't have an objective female friend to respond honestly about.

However, on the flip side, Zii will enjoy the "fun new stuff" that Gary will be providing... and perhaps not much else. It could be very easy for Gary himself to start to confuse good feelings about their friendship (and a greater comfort with sex in general) into something more than Zii is interested in. After all, Gary's a guy... and that falls neither into girl on girl, guy on guy, or bisexual enough for Zii's tastes. :lol: Not unless Zii and Didi were pretty hot and heavy enough, at least.

Have a non sex related storyline going on while the girls are drawing closer and closer. Is there any other route? I don't think so.
