The NEW Yaoi/Yuri, Shonen/Shojo-ai Thread

I put this thread up b/c I saw that the other Yaoi/Yuri thread has been dead for a while and I just wanted to comment on it, but apparently, it was such a big deal that I posted on an inactive thread (geez, didn't realize it was that big of an issue to do so!). So I restarted the Yaoi/Yuri thread b/c that was the only thing I could apparently do!

Now, some quick rules and guidelines to go through. First off, it's perfectly fine to express your like/dislike of Yaoi/Youri, Shonen/Shojo-ai, but don't go after ME or anybody else for making this thread, OK? We all have a right to make a thread about a subject of our choosing, so long as it's in the right section, but other than that it's perfectly fine to put up threads like this, so please don't go after people for doing this kinda stuff ok?

Secondly, using sarcasm in a post is not in violation of the forum rules, even if the object in which that sarcasm was aimed at, doesn't get it! Ok, are we clear about this? Learn to take a damn joke, will ya? You'll find that you'll enjoy life more that way too! So if you feel like using sarcasm to demonstrate your point, go ahead! I have no problem w/ it!

Ok, that's about it, I think. So, w/ that cleared up, let's get to the discussion about Yaoi/Yuri Shonen/Shojo-ai!

I myself, have seen a few episodes of Gravitation, Loveless, Princess Princess, and the first 10 min. of Zetsuai 1989, but that's it so far! I will be seeing more in the future b/c this stuff kinda intrigues me. I'm curious about it really! And, as some of you may have seen in the "dead Yaoi thread" I did a 2 min. standup on DN Angel, Shonen-ai style (it woulda been a Yaoi standup but f'ing Tekkoshocon would only allow a PG-13 version of my act so it had to be PG-13 [And I know you Yaoi fangirls are upset about that!]), so that's another reason why I'm watching this stuff, to get ideas for my standup acts!

But yeah, I think it's ok overall. i'll probably not be so much of a Yaoi fan, but I think that Shonen-ai is ok (I especailly found "Loveless" to be something that i'll like!) and I haven't seen any Yuri or Shojo-ai (or at least stuff that is declared Yuri or Shojo-ai, so I may have actually seen some and not realize it!) yet, but i'll try to see some sometime soon. And hey, do any of you Yaoi/Yuri fans have any suggestions for me on what to watch? B/c I am open to series/show suggestions so if you feel like making some, please, feel free to do so!

Ok, that's enough from me! So, what do you guys think of this stuff?

You know, bold words would have more emphasis if you didn't use them so often.

Also.. Best way to start a thread. I'm sure no one has any idea to whom those first three paragraphs are directed to.

You know, Dark's last comment would have been intelligent if not for the bold, italics, and the use of "u." Because, I'm sad to say, I agree with his second statement. I'll appreciate anything so long as it catches my interest... but I have little desire to see a penis go inside another man's ass.

Sadly, I've had to say as much to one of my school pals too.
