Who's waiting for Saffron to show up on RWBY Chibi?

I forgot to mention last week: Terra Cotta. >.<

Really liking the look of this upcoming Gen:lock show. From the little I've seen it really reminds me of Robotech.

Folks who have had a Gen:lock preview say that they have enjoyed it.

Re: Rooster Teeth (was RWBY)
I want to see Saphron (because that's apparently how her name is spelled - seriously ), Terra, and Ilia - and probably also someone who isn't a lesbian, but no one I can think of right now. Of course, none of them make any canon sense at all, but Tai never came to Beacon either, and he's in every other episode, and Klein didn't show up at all until the fourth series, and we've seen him. (Plus they keep switching beds for blocking's sake, but the fans will tell you that's all canon.) (Also apparently a dorm where four are assigned to a room without regard to sex has single-occupancy, single-sex bathrooms? What sense does that make...?)
Also, apparently Pyrrha's mother is Batman. Who knew?

and now, if anyone needs their lack of faith in humanity recalibrated:
there are fans out there going on now about how abusive Blake is towards Adam. And how justified he is for the things he does because of it.
I dont know what to say

Saphron is named for 'saffron', the shade of yellow orange, and Saphros, the infamous ancient Greek island.

Saphros isn't the name of an island. The island was Lesbos, the home of the poet Sappho

Saffron is also a spice derived from the Crocus flower, commonly known as the "saffron crocus". The vivid crimson stigmas and styles, called threads, are collected and dried to be used mainly as a seasoning and colouring agent in food. Saffron, long among the world's most costly spices by weight, was probably first cultivated in or near Greece. They call it "Mellow Yellow".

So I think we can say Bumblebee has been officially sunk.
(Yes, I have been waiting a week to make that joke.)
(I just thought it was a teeny bit tacky, in your world where everyone's named for a color, to write a lesbian and spell her name "Saphron." Also I can't believe I forgot - chibi Maria! Of course, that makes even less sense than three characters who were all canonically at least known to a main character before the Fall of Beacon, but never mind.)

Was episode 13 seriously the end of Volume 6? If that's the case, did this Volume feel more like a prologue or an intermission to anyone else?

with the death of Adam I think it was an ending and a set up.

Re: Rooster Teeth (was RWBY)
I really liked the beginning of volume 6, but they really dropped the ball on the last four episodes. First off, there's the morality of it - we keep getting told the heroes had no choice, but didn't they, really? And while it wasn't foreseeable that it would go wrong in exactly the way it did, it kind of was foreseeable that it would go wrong, and that when it did go wrong, it would be the just sort of blood-stained mess it was, especially with the ubiquitous threat of Grimm. And to top everything off, it's the fact that their caper got so many people killed that gives Cordo her excuse to let them go! Also, it's weird to put the villains in the opening, spend about a quarter of the volume on them, and never have them meet the main cast. Even volume 4 saw an encounter with Tyrian. I hear in Japan, the show is released as a series of films, one a year - I'd love to hear how they react to this.
I feel like gen:LOCK is trying to be two shows at once, a gritty military show (that happens to have giant mechs) and a quirky action series. Meanwhile, we've got the standard Saturday morning ideology of "let's take the guilt out of killing us" overlaid onto a map of the US - no creepy subtext there.

Re: Rooster Teeth (was RWBY)
Seems the fans are already assigning ship names to the Gen:lock crew. Dakota Fanning seems to have coined "Worth Chasing", and the Bumbleby shippers are already talking about "Goldcloak" (Yazmina and Valentina)
