Not much to say about the comic itself this time, but as for the commentary:

Of course I'm psyched about Mamma Mia! The more musicals that make successful transitions to film, the more likely we are to see more of them. And since I'm just a big Broadway nut to begin with, I couldn't be happier. I want a film version of Spring Awakening, darn it. But I do get to see Avenue Q June 3, so that's awesome.

Now, Speed Racer looks incredibly cheesy, and not in the good way that the old show was. However, I fully intend to see it at some point if only to help send a message that there is a market for live-action anime movies, and maybe WETA and everyone else involved in the EVA movie will finally get off their collective asses and make some more progress on it.

As for Sex and the City, I think Brian Griffin said it best: "So it's a show about four hookers and their mom?"

You sure that wasn't the Golden Girls?

I'm looking forward to Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones, Mamma Mia!, Wall-E, Kung-Fu Panda, and that Batman movie. There's probably more, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Now now, we mustn't speak ill of Rose. Blanche, though, definitely.

Also, I misquoted. It's should have said three, not four. But yes, the Family Guy quote was most assuredly referencing Parker & Co.

And what's this? Two weeks later? My, I have been busy lately. Blame ACen, mostly.
