Sanae's name does come from a video game, but not that one. Actually, it doesn't even come from a dating sim at all... but rather a Bemani rhythm game called Pop'n Music. Elle, Jessica and Nina's names all come from that game too, so Sanae-chan is in good pretty good company. Obviously, the Uri House Sanae-chan bares zero resemblance to the Pop'n Sanae-chan... I just really liked the name.
