Not sure about you, but I really liked FF9 myself. So a little sad that they are skipping it. Though the number of girls in it is somewhat low. But could have some of the troupe in there as well. Garnet, Freya, Eiko, and then the troupe's Ruby. Ah well, at least there was a cameo.

I enjoyed Chrono Cross a lot more than Final Fantasy IX (which came out the same year), so it colors my view of that installment somewhat.

Well I was about 14 when it came out, so my views are somewhat colored as well (it's been 12 years, wow).
