Yes, I could have sworn Miss Gisele said Nina was first year High School, so that would make her 14ish, but I can not find it to properly quote it.

Nina's 14. Tiny, but still 14. The boobs are a giveaway. Grade 9 in a 9 to 12 high school.
As for my reason to practice public... that's what I've always done. All my projects started with a purpose to improve something, or try something new. Deadlines push me to draw. With no deadlines, I'd probably just be reading a book instead. ;)

Soo Blair is some kind of twisted soul trapped in a plastic doll... Childs Play anyone? Its going to be interesting to see how things develope with that critter methinks.

I don't remember Giz saying anything about it (before this thread), but
Nina and Blair both said so, in the last strip. (Well, Nina implied, Blair said outright.)
