Dangerously Chloe 28-03-19 Where I was Happiest

New Strip! Teddy likes his new Godly body but he'd really like to have his old body back.... (no, the other body.)

Well that's certainly a twist.

I'd like to say Alchemy might be in luck, but I don't think that would work since even in his male form Alchemy still isn't a mortal so I don't know if children are really an option.

OK... now that was funny. And judging from Teddy's reaction, he's not in complete agreement with himself.

At first I was "well this is getting deep, probably this will have a satisfying conclusion".
But then I was "nope, there goes the buttjoke".

Well he did have succubus senses boosting how guys felt so I doubt women could compare. Plus he had friends at the strip club and pretty much no where else.

I'm not sure about Naomi, but Chloe's bi. So, I guess it could work.

Or, they could use magic to turn them into handsome studs. Then, the last strip could be titled "Menage a 3".

Remo Williams,

The Master of Sinanju.

Please no... please don't let Teddy's entire story arc amount to "I want to be a woman and a pro stripper." :-L His characterization had NOTHING to do with anything like that until he was forced to have a female body for months, and even then his feelings were influenced by things he had little to no understanding of (namely a body that outright absorbed male lust as pleasure). He was happiest tinkering and helping people. He initially wasn't even able to have deep sexual contact with men without first imagining Chloe was there instead of a penis.

I mean sure people change but they don't do 180s without severe trauma (which admittedly some of Teddy's experiences could arguably count as, but the comic never took those seriously before so they really shouldn't start now).

While I understand why Chloe would hope the key is broken, it seems like Teddy has become so warped throughout his mutations that the delusional *wish* he stated was probably the truth. I mean, the fact that prior he says that he likes his disgusting muscular hybrid of a body is kind of an early giveaway that he isn't well.
There is a bit of handwaving away the moral dilemma of slavery, but I suppose it is technically a minor aspect of the problem, since Teddy is being of such immense power he isn't so much being enslaved as being contained from potentially destroying the world.

Yes, rant ahoy, sorry.
Perhaps it is wrong to judge, nevertheless, I will - it is a rather unfulfilling narrative when the protagonist actually wants to be a stripper because they are so vain and get off on attention, then believe they will be able to "retire" to a relatively normal Nuclear Family. Typically, when stripping is used in a story, it is usually as a means to an end (pay for university, just make ends meet until one can find a more sustainable occupation*), but making stripping the main goal? Here it doesn't come across as subverting tropes, rather following the laziest and less likeable route.
Especially when using the strip club Teddi worked at as the judging parameter: don't do proper checks on the stripper's age and background; seem to encourage or at least not forbid prostitution; and allows their strippers to indulge in free for all orgies. Not exactly the most ethical place to work, let alone believe that a marriage-worthy man would come by a la Pretty Woman; I don't even care much about this aspect, however, it is also kind of sexist to show that the female Ted can only be "truly happy" when a man and his procreation aid is brought along.

*edit. Heck, even this series used the "gathering lust energy for Chloe" as a reason before suddenly making it the main damn focus and apparently ultimate end of Ted's character destruction.

I'll admit, Teddy becoming female was funny for a time, but it just grew old and felt completely pointless to the overall story. Worst of all, we've spent a good 2 years with him being a woman, which means even more time pushing the plot away.

That establishment also had the non-white strippers act like racial stereotypes.

I genuinely laughed at the punchline. Well played.

I for one am mostly happy with how the story is playing out. It's been a bumpy ride but I'll miss it when it's over.

Yeah. Well, also there was a white stripper who was ginger, therefore was made or chose to act as - ack, lassie - the Scotsman. The fact that the strippers were revealed to be "playing roles" to match the stereotypes of their races felt like a retcon, but that's admittedly conjecture.
