Re: 09-08-10 Dude!
Ah, if only this comic weren't PG-13. I keed, I keed!
*dodges various thrown objects*
Anyway....ummm.....yea. I imagine some of those 'girls' are about to get a crash course in human anatomy. Gives all new meaning to 'playing grab-ass in the shower'. And yes, it would be farking HILARIOUS if one of them was 'on her time of the month'.

I could have sworn that Blair had a bit of different dialog in the last panel originally. Something along the lines of 'Why yes, yes they had.' or such.Azrael wrote:Not to metion was the beneficiary of her transformation.

Like I told Azrael, they are the wrong hands from Melissa's standpoint.Chase-san wrote:Wrong hands? Wrong hands? I don't know about you, but thus far I think it fell into the 'right hands'...Paul wrote:Blair's are most definitely the wrong hands.
I should mention: all the 'dude' talk reminded me of these commercials.

He did. Was something like "Yes they did, the sure did."Ravenhull wrote:I could have sworn that Blair had a bit of different dialog in the last panel originally. Something along the lines of 'Why yes, yes they had.' or such.Azrael wrote:Not to metion was the beneficiary of her transformation.
Wonder why it was changed?

Well, that would very much depend on the type of elf you're talking about...Gr33none wrote:I would say vampire instead of elf (note the teeth) ... and this is a monester school I don't think elves are there...So, who all's in the lineup? I'm guessing an elf (note the ears), one of the lizard twins, and an incubus? (can't see the fourth guy well enough to guess...)
1) Wise and noble forest dwellers (very common, Tolkien-type)
2) Secretive and wild tribals (common, call 'em Elfquest type)
3) Chaotic and shy nature spirits (rare, 'Dryad' type?)
4) The toymakers (Santa's type)
5) Drow (distinctive enough to be their own type)
6) Psychopathic giggle machines (this is a very old type, been forgotten because of all the above... can also call 'em Discworld type, but they show up in old Earth legend too)
Obviously, a few of these definitely qualify as 'monster'.

They're acting alike girls because they probably looked down already. Ya know what I mean. Wouldn't YOU be startled if you had it different than just a moment ago? Miss lizard twin is just staring at the other two sooo is still oblivious. You know, I just realized... Two out of (the) three boys turned girls, are acting like girls. The third one is just to oblivious to know to react. I state this observation from that fact that both raven haired McPointyEars and Devil O'Horny are covering their new feminine body parts in embarrassment, though only raven haired McPointyEars is reacting to the gender change... seemingly. And Lizard twin is mr... err miss, oblivious in this strip.

You'd think that (s)he'd rather quickly notice the sudden addition of a couple of pounds to his/her chest, and the subtraction of weight from...elsewhere.
Not to mention a substantial change in tone of speaking voice.

I've highlighted the word I have issue with. I'm not sure he does much of that.Matuse wrote:You'd think that (s)he'd rather quickly notice the sudden addition of a couple of pounds to his/her chest, and the subtraction of weight from...elsewhere.

I noticed this too. My best guess is that the new text is a little more friendly to the PG-13 rating since it doesn't take the obvious adult material and slap you in the face with it.Satanic_Hamster wrote:He did. ( That's not a shot at the writers. I'm just guessing they decided to (or had to) tone that one down a little. )
