I however hope that Nina returns to normal. Blonde hair? I doesn't suit her.
However, I don't care about what happens to the characters as long as it gives us a lot of Chaos and Doom and everybody returns to their original gender at the end of this arch.

I'm mostly with Pier777 on this. I think somehow Jacqui's glamor spell was... transmuted and incorporated into the freefizzling chaos and doom orb magic.

It seems pretty simple to me: childishly naïve little girl => teenage tough guy => beach bunny bimbo. The orb is still doing what it's been doing, Nina just has the misfortune that the inversion of teenage tough guy isn't necessarily the same as her default state.
I was really liking Nina as teenage tough guy. The rainbows and lollipops imagery came back briefly, and I was a little put out. Do the Delacroixs have any male cousins coming into the school in the near future? Maybe there is a Nino clone out there.

I'm gonna go ahead & point out that a Glamour spell is just an illusion, Mel is still wearing her dress, but everybody is perceiving it as a Boy's Uniform. There was originally a line where Jaqui explained that the spell would only affect their Clothes & hair, but it got cut for space.
