Honestly - why is she trying to fly in a public area? Is she stupid enough to think that she's like Prudence and no one can see her wings/horns/tail unless she wants them to- so, her secret is safe? (as if seeing a pre-teen girl floating about mid air without assistance wasn't going to draw anyone's attention, right?) Or are we supposed to believe Gabrielle is trespassing by jogging through their backyard?
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.
Not to mention the whole, "why don't I jump out of a tree and see if I go splat" strategy. What's wrong with trying from the ground first, seeing if she gets any lift at all, and then moving to higher group (like a bed).
Or better yet, *ask Chloe*!
If nothing else, it would justify the name of strip if Chloe actually did something.

It looks like a public park. I see people in the background. The horns, wings, and tail may be invisible to mortals unless they attuned to the supernatural which is why Gabrielle would notice, but I'm forced to agree with you that people are going to notice a girl flying around even if they can't see the wings. However, Abby thought injecting herself with succubi and reaper blood was a good idea so her impulses tend to override her better judgement.
You people wont let anything stop you from complaining about the comic, will you?
We'll stop complaining when the author can put some thought behind the setting.
Abby trying to fly? Not a problem - as who wouldn't try when they discover they have wings?
Abby choosing to do this in a public setting, where anyone can see her? Mind numbingly stupid!
If the whole reason for this ridiculous setting was to bring Gabrielle back into the story, it would have made far more sense to have it taking place in the DeCarlo backyard; as we already know Gabrielle, Tandy and Naomi are spying on the area, already.

Are you saying If we see something we consider worth criticising in the strip de jour we shouldn't voice our opinions on it because negativity is bad? I for one like to believe that the writers and fans who like the direction of these latest strips have thick enough skin not to take it the wrong way if we say we don't think much of what we see.
