Re: Let's see your characters.
I started up wow again to play with an old friend in connecticut. Basically I gave him my account since hackers got his banned. He recently gave me a different account, so the terms of my return ended up being getting WotLK for free. Works for me, now I have a rogue I didn't have to lvl to 70 with. I wasn't going to play warrior anymore. After all these years Blizzard finally managed to kill my interest in my favorite class.
I'll consider pics when I get geared up again.

yep, all the talent tree's are viable and they've got pretty neat skills.

Re: Let's see your characters.
50% of the strategy involved in the talent trees is gone. Whereas before you would be hard pressed to find two pvp warriors with the same specc, I haven't seen much difference in them now. Even most of the other warriors I became friends with during the days of the High Warlord grind have abandoned the class for something else.
I think it came somewhere around charging in combat or the ridiculous whirlwind move where its just not all that interesting. I don't see warriors stance-dancing a lot anymore either. Maybe its a lost art, but it used to be a required skill in order for you to be worth a damn.

Re: Let's see your characters.
nah this isnt the place for a wow debate.
basicly that stuff was tossed aside for the class to be worth a damn in pvp/pve with all its specs [well cept arms in pve and prot in pvp, but even then they're viable, if not ideal, in those roles]. The truely skilled fellows still use stance dance. they're in a better position as a class now.
there was and always has been 1 best talent tree spec. jsut that now, more people realise what it is and have a certai nset of talents that are good strong choices. rather than a variety of mediocre/poor with some strong.
but i can see your point. Even rogues have expierenced the same thing. we basicly run under 2 great builds, one combat and the other mutilate, out of which mutilate is the better dps. we have very simple and repetitive dps cycles of a few set buttons too.
but its still fun cause the boss encounters and quests are unique and fun. a pencil is a pencil. its boring. but yo ucan draw wonders with even the most common standard of pencil that everyone uses. same is true of talents. viability and effectiveness were provided in exchange for what you mentioned. WArriors get fantastic results that put them on par with all the other tanks/dps now.
still though. that loss of magic you speak of..i feel it too.

Re: Let's see your characters.
Graaaaah! Gaia avatars are so adorable....so...so adorable.
I don't play, but I HAD to make one on a dollmaker:

(I'm pretty sure I edited that in photoshop, too, but it's been a long time...)
Dragon Quest IX is a great game...and there's plenty of character customization options (nyeeeesss....a JRPG that has full character customizing. <3)...
My party (not quite what they currently look like, since I can't be bothered to get more recent pictures)...Size is 'cuz it's a DS game, and the DS screen's not huge...
