Anyone else notice that the vampire queen's hair is remarkably similar to Nina's?

A preview of how Nina will look as an adult perhaps? If so she's gonna be a killer.

And I think Ace just had a brain burn at the SHOOO KYOOOT!

Wild shot in the dark here: not only does the vampire queen have similar hair to Nina's, but the werewolf introduced himself as Lupus the Wolfhearted, and Ace's last name is Wolfhart.

Possible "rival families" scenario? Would be particularly heart-breaking for Nina since she seems so attached to her "puppy".

Ace is in shock because his ancestor got beheaded by something similar to a housecat with only one swipe!

There does seem to be a family resemblance between Nina and the dark queen there. I think we need more pictures of her to be sure. Any other agree?

Yes, this could lead to some fun if it is a case of double ancestors there. ;)

Not quite a Vorpal Bunny but it works. :p

Although now that I think about it I seems to recall a long ago spoof beastiary listing for Vorpal Kittens.

Giz, I really dig the parallel composition in the last two panels. Very 1980s Alan Moore.

No surprise to me. In all my almost 44 years, I think I've lived without a cat in the household for a total of seven years. So I know of what I speak when I say:

Trust me - ALL cats are like that. :)

He probably is shocked to hear that his ancestor was destroyed by a housecat. Then again, I kinda think Nina is giving her own spin on the history from what her father told her. And the fact that vampire history was most likely written by vampires lol.
