The majority of times we've seen her are times where she's stressed, especially later in the webcomics.
Layla was under far more stress than Zoé and she still maintained her composure most of the time.

Zoé goes off on any and everyone, even without provocation. Remember how Lavali wound up stranded in the back of a limo without her clothes? And she hadn't done Zoé anything except offer her a drink. She's also gone off on Cammi (not that Cammi cares), again without provocation at times.

When your methods drive people away (Marie), or makes them threaten to walk out on you, I'd say those methods are anything but benign. That isn't bashing Zoé, but the way she operates leaves a lot to be desired.

If you're going to compare Zoe to a character from another comic with a wildly more different setting, then you've already failed, because Layla's life is not only more crazy in comparison to the more realistic setting Zoe's in, but she grew up in said world where all manner of mythological creatures exist alongside magic and other brouhaha.

And Zoe herself admits to her erring in her forcefully stripping Lavali of her clothes by taking her and the other girls to a high-profile boutique to make up for it. It doesn't erase what she did of course, but it shows she knows what she did was wrong. And Cammi's a special case, in that their working relationship is strained due to her free-spirited nature and sexual shenanigans. The biggest issue between them of course is what Zoe did to Sandra. But we'll see (or won't, who knows?) if they'll patch things up.

Yes. Zoe is less-than-ideal when she's in a foul mood, but in the case of Marie, the girl was, and still is, in a very emotional state. Ingrid didn't go into a lot of detail, but even if Zoe confronted Marie more gingerly, it seems she was already dead-set on being Eva's protege with how she started living the lifestyle. And as for Sandra, I love her, but she escalated the already precarious issue with her statement. And again, neither of them knew at the time why Marie was already more successful. And as the link you provided shows, the 'contingency plan' was ordered by Domenico. And I may be construing this in her favor, but I see that as a case where, when she herself is too angry to make a rational decision, there are others around to act in her stead, lest something really bad happens.

But hey! If you really find fault with the characters and story, you should take this up to the story's writer, voicing your opinion instead of just talking to me or others about it, trying to prove yourself right.

They're both done by the same company and the same writers. I'd say it's fair game. Nor does it change the fact that Layla dealt with more stressful situations and extreme circumstances without popping a blood vessel every other scene.

That's a strawman, 'cuz I never said that. We were discussing Zoé's methods and whether they can be considered professional, or benign.

In the grand scheme of things, her professionalism leaves something to be desired, especially in cases where she loses her cool. But, as I have to reiterate, she deals with more nonsense than other model agents have to, and has a high standard. And she's most definitely benign, especially in comparison with the unscrupulous Eva.

Why are you all fighting with Gotoh? He hates Zoe to the point that nothing you all point out, even if logical, will not change his mind.

Anyways, that aside:
she's scowling half the time we see her.
Let's say "ALL the time we see her". I've never even once drawn Zoe smiling ^^

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

When and where did I say that? :-\

The most I've ever said about her is that she's unprofessional, hypocritical, and has anger management issues, given how quickly and easily she loses her temper. None of that has anything to do with hating her character, it's a reasonably fair and accurate observation.

Which will make it all the more special when we finally do see her smile.

Yeah, but when someone points otherwise (on some parts) and with proper strip proof, you tend to overlook that and stick to your guns over her flaws. When this is done almost everytime, it's kinda easy to assume that the person would hate the character cos of it. Now that you've mentioned that's not the case, then okay, but you gotta admit, before this, it was very VERY easy to assume otherwise.
