But what is puzzling me is what the hell Chris is making of all this. In the space of a day or so he's seen Teddy as male, then female and now male again. Even with the potential confusion around his sexual awakening you'd think he might just notice something a little bit odd about that.
Seeing how naive most of mortals in this comic are (to the point of being too stupid to live); he's probably convinced himself he's having another dream.
Also really annoyed with the flow of the latter panels in this update. You got Chris is the alley, with his pants around his ankles; next he's on the sidewalk - in public view - with his pants around his knees. For someone who wants to keep his back alley trysts a secret, he's doing a poor job of it. Also, how did his pants go from around his ankles to around his knees when - judging by the motion lines, it appears like he shimmied on his knees from the alley to the street; making the pant placement impossible.

His earlier claim of having sex reassignment surgery over the weekend, while ridiculous, was just plausible enough to let people keep their understanding of reality intact if they chose to believe it. That’s why it worked.
There’s no explanation for this. Naomi finally caught him. He’s going to have to take more direct action against her to keep his cover.
But, he doesn’t look concerned. I don’t think he particularly cares whether he gets caught at this point. He may be evolving past mortal concerns like that.

I love Teddy’s face in the last panel but boy, get some clothes. Also, I’m curious what he’ll do here and if he’s in to women at all (a seduction attempt might help him out here). Moreso, if seems Teddi got all the personality and Teddy has none. At all. He looks pretty but that’s about it.

Unless he actually used his brain for once and came up with a very plausible reason why there's two versions of him.
'Naomi - you know my cousin, Chloe? I introduced you to her the last time we went on a date. Yeah - the girl version of me you've been seeing these last few weeks/months was actually her posing as me while I was away somewhere bulking up'.
Depending how much time has passed, it could still be implausible (because no one can bulk up that quickly) - but it would make far more sense than Teddy getting gender reassignment surgery (and having a full recovery - with no scarring, whatsoever) over a single weekend.
But then, given this comic - we probably won't get an outcome anywhere near that reasonable.

Well to offset the pam'cake tragedy let us console ourselves by praising the quality of clothing in the DC world. Not only did Abby's clothes survive her hulking up almost intact but Al's clothes seem to be remarkably elastic. Looking at the size differential when they were in the shower Teddy must be at least five sizes larger than Al but he can still walk around in his clothes without doing himself a mischief somewhere vital.
Taking a picture on from a cell is easy. The draw back is that unless the phone is super awesome, the quality isn't going to be as good. Tho it doesn't matter much in the long run. She's over looking the fact that he grew a foot and has abs for days. Even if she showed anyone they'd think its Photoshopped. Like Teddi having a sex change is one thing, teddy suddenly becoming huge and ripped is another. Then again he could always claim he got bored and decided to be a guy with the help of his amazing plastic surgeon.

Might work if he had *only* bulked up, but he has also gotten taller by like a foot and a half.

@Lordoffiling - Teddy's height can be easily explained away, too. He could say it was a late growth spurt or that he had gone through limb lengthening surgeries.

While this strip is on the subject, could the writer please stop this tired-ass shit where someone who is introduced as one sexuality (usually straight) somehow develops feelings for someone else who is outside that sexulity (i.e. goes gay or bi) or is put into a compromising position with them out of plot contrivance? It was kind of interesting when it was a semi-serious plot point used on DiDi, Sandra and Yuki, but now every single comic in Pixietrix has done it and at this stage it's just a punchline. There ARE other ways to advance the story, you know, most of which can be done without making damn near every sexual act in your comics stink of sexual assault.
