Nobody should rely on Lynn to be the proverbial angel on the shoulder.
Credit where it is due to DiDi, as she finally shows some sense of having principles - granted, it is a rather poor time to have such standards, as it would be likely that the wrestling organisation could slow and even stop her potential progress in professional leagues. So, her accidental dream career would be crippled, leaving her only with some overdue ethics and an unhealthy, shallow relationship; although, by standing her ground, perhaps she could earn the friendship of Roxie, too, so I suppose an improvement from merely having the awful coupling she has with Zii.

I'm not sure about GiGi's management style here; making someone a much better offer than you made one of your trusted minions, in front of that minion, doesn't look like a great way to build loyalty. Assuming, of course, that everyone is telling the truth here; for all we know, GiGi and Lynn rehearsed all this beforehand. It wouldn't seem out of character.
The money also sounds high, to my totally ignorant ear, but I guess that this is what happens when the DiDi Effect interacts with the insanity of the entertainment biz. DiDi has finally, accidentally, monetised it. But gods, she's going to need a decent financial advisor, soon as she gets her first pay cheque. Maybe Aurelius Shrapnel has some space in his diary and is receiving adequate therapy.

Very good wrestlers in large companies can earn 7 figure salaries so 125k isn't necessarily totally unbelievable.
And on the management style that was the same contract as Lynn started on. It's safe to assume she's on a lot more than that now.

The lesson here is that you can throw money at the problem til it goes away.
Or not.

That's still 96k USD, so no small sum for someone just starting out without real qualifications.

I was gonna say. If the plan is to make her into a major TV persona, I’d say they’re still lowballing her a bit.

Even in US Dollars I’d be with Lynn on this. Just think of all the orgasms you could buy with that money DiDi.

I think that the prior strips showed that Didi has a natural aptitude for the wrestling techniques but needs more training in the choreography that is professional wrestling today. While she is being hired on spec, the risks, given the entire package of looks, size and physical skills, is extremely small. At worst, Didi will need an assistant to keep her on track and inline.

Didi's version of Tatiana?
Didi has been obstinate before on principles she believes strongly in. I think that a better strategy for Gigi would to include even more training for Didi, rather than just throwing money at Didi. I know Gigi said she was going to make sure Didi gets her style polished, but there are times that agreeing for the sake of agreeing and then moving on might be better. It's not like there are other professional wrestling organizations competing for Didi... although I suppose she wants to get Didi's exclusivity here and now. I don't think it is the Didi Effect, directly. Perhaps how the Didi Effect will operate once televised... mind controlling the viewing masses with her twins?
I also agree that discussing contract negotiations (if it can even be called this at the moment) in front of her more tenured potential peers is unorthodox. The joke, seemingly, is that Didi will be making more than Lynn considering how Lynn wants to sign on to that contract. I assume Lynn gets some extra monetary benefits, acting as a scout as well. Per diem expense account and company car maybe?

I wo der if this is where they lose DiDi. She wants to wrestle. Making her a non-performer is going to drive her off.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Yyyyeah... This deal is sounding more sketchy by the panel.
