Dangerously Chloe 7-12-17 Slightly Unteleported

Post by Jason Waltrip »

New Strip! After their close call, Abby and Chloe find a nice shade tree to continue their Q & A but are quickly and rudely interrupted!

Interesting confrontation... Do monster hunters count demons among their rightful prey?

Hey look, AA students actually out monster hunting for a change. Are Gabrielle and Tandy a match for Chloe?
For those curious: my avatar is an artistic rendering of a spaceship I drew for a primitive (by today's standards) multiplayer online game called XPilot. (More about both on my website.)

Bzzz.

Problem is Chloe will be too busy protecting Abbey.

And she's sick. And Chloe was never much of a fighter anyway
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Yes, but that could also make her more dangerous. As Alchemy said Teddi's life expectancy is dropping the longer Chloe's condition remains unchanged. And it's possible Sgt. Slash n Stab taught her students how to fight off angels. Unlike Faith or Ash Gabrielle and Tandy don't have esper powers and are just highly trained humans. This might not end so well for them.

She is indeed a wonderful artist who could doubtless turn her hand to anything, but from what I've seen, I don't get the feeling that she's very interested in depicting some of those bits in all their wrinkly Lovecraftian glory.

I've always wondered about the logic of "warning shots." If they could sneak up on a pair of demons, why wouldn't they aim for a killing blow immediately? That blade could've gone right in Abby or Chloe's head, but instead they've alerted them to their presence and are now taking time to introduce themselves.

Well, maybe they're hoping for an interrogation or something. I wonder if they're only aiming for Abby? Perhaps they've mistaken Chloe for a human.

It's about time this comic got back to a plot that didn't revolve around gratuitous nudity/soft core porn.

Here's hoping they stick with this for a good while.

Probably the same reason why Faith didn't immediately kill Layla the moment she found out she was a vampire. It's an over-confidence/ego thing; essentially, playing with their prey before putting them out of their misery.

Well, Chloe made her wings, tail and horns disappear, so...
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.

I just realised this would fall perfectly in line with our lovely Hero Antagonists' assumptions about Abby being the household succubus.

Also having a knife go through Abby’s head, and the resulting explosion of gore, just maybe wouldn’t fit in with the general ‘tone’ of the comic. :)

Wouldn't be the first time she got her brain poked by metal though.
