Huh, surprising that DiDi shows more mental faculties in that she remembers to go to wrestling - a pastime she originally picked up on a whim and hadn't considered it a serious career option. Whereas Zii has her supposedly "dream job" of actually forming - even if by accident - a somewhat successful band, but forgot about it due to her lustful obsessions.
At the risk of being accused of mistaking comedy for a sport, I would prefer if Zii loses everything, and the strip ends with her back with nothing but her fragile ego - perhaps with a hint of her possibly beginning a path of redemption of sorts. DiDi... well, she can get swooped up by Brooklyn and then also discarded.

I'm intrigued that Izz still seems invested in the band; even if it seems Zii couldn't care less, though Izz might either be ignorant of Zii's utterly flawed personality or merely was able to rationalise it as a way to stay by her "hero."

Guess a more accurate band name would be along the lines of, "Capricious and the Rejects." :))

If we're renaming the band, I submit «Zii and the Blundermakers» for consideration. Any voters?

Also, this strip looks like confirmation that being «drunk on DiDi» as Spidrift calls it, is a serious medical condition with severe effects on short term memory and disruption of common sense.

Zii being at the same point she was when she entered the strip would work for the character, though I'm not sure if it'll happen. They'll probably want to go with a happier ending for these three, having Zii being at the same point wouldn't work for that unless she decides to quit music and be Didi's manager or something. Or maybe Gary gets her a job at his place as a composer for their new game.

I just want Zii to suffer serious complications for her actions, and ideally, learn a lesson from trying to put her life back together. I don't necessarily think that her and Didi should break up in order for Zii to come off of her Didi fix. I don't know how drastic of a treatment it will take to get Zii thinking clearly again. The one thing I don't want Zii to do is to somehow mysteriously whip Izzy and Terry into a band of extraordinary magnitude, just to outperform Angel and the Electric Toyz. I know we weren't reading a story with a guaranteed moral lesson, but giving Zii her everything after defecating on her friends would look like simple pandering to "Teflon" Zii.

Looks like Zii's band is now Isabelle and Terry.

Haha looks like I actually called it except Izz switched to bass on her own. And Didi's dialog in the first panel tells me that the wrestling subplot is about to rear it's ugly head again. How about bringing Kiley back from her hiatus?

It's been an insanely long time since this particular strip; but hadn't Zii confined that every time she tries to form a band, it ends in utter failure? I think we've found out why.

What's going to be the most annoying part of all this is that Zii is going to project her blame on Sonya and Yuki - accusing them of being the selfish/inconsiderate bitches who ruined a good thing over something so trivial as sex.
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.

Suzie Nielsen, welcome to the Twilight Zone! :)

Although I feel just a little bad for Terry, I am looking forward very much to the look on Ms. Nielsen's face when she realizes what has happened and remembers she did it to herself.

Zii was evidently losing the plot even before tonight’s deep draught of DiDi; how did she think the practice would work when she already knew she was down a bass player?

Zii never said explicitly that she’s had multiple band failures that I recall; she just described the fiasco with Yuki and mentioned the failed alliance with Angel.

Anyhow, I assume from the fact that Angel not only dumped Terry at the first opportunity, but did so gleefully, that he’s truly a bloody awful drummer. And Izz may have savant tendencies, but she’s never even touched a bass before. So this band surely isn’t going anywhere very soon.

Now, are the Electric Toyz still in the next practice room? Not that it’d be smart for Zii to go see them; faced with Angel’s gloating, Sonya’s contempt, and Yuki’s anger, I think that Zii would wither

Then I hope she goes over. She could use a good withering.

HAH! This is even better than my earlier prediction; instead of no band Zii ends up with a band barely worthy of the name. Looks like this latest venture into music stardom is well on its way to crashing and burning...

...unless Zii is still a creators' pet, in which case we will see her whip this pathetic grouping into a real band and whup Angel's Electric Toyz. And then she still gets to go home to DiDi. :-w
