I just knew that Gary wouldn't be done dealing with those two idiots.

We've seen enough of Peggy goodness to be okay with missing out on some more. Though, truthfully, tad disappointed, but quite relieved it didn't cut to that horrid DiZi duo.

I believe someone called it, i.e. both Tracy and James would pursue - or at least appear to pursue - a relationship with Gary.
So, the dumb-dumb plot rears its ugly head in spite of being defeated? Seriously hope spine-having Gary can deny any of their most likely absurd/inane propositions; if he relents into any probably sexual contests, then he will lose the only amount of respect (with "respect" being a stretch, but for lack of another suitable term) the audience had ever allowed for him.
If it becomes a simple running gag, with Gary rejecting the idiot and the misguided woman, then it shouldn't be too painful.

Tracy, overall, wouldn't make a bad girlfriend - she's shown that she cares about her lovers needs and is willing to accommodate them - to a degree. James, on the other hand, if a dimwitted moron who's too busy playing the white knight role to notice the people he thinks he's protecting is getting hurt by his protection.

I'm now waiting in anticipation to see if this new, confident Gary will utterly decimating James' delusions (and maybe easing Tracy's ego - and giving her a good hard laugh at her ex's expense) by admitting that he had never given James a BJ; that James fell in love with the skills of a sliced grapefruit.
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.

I'm all for Gary telling James the truth about the grapefruit. And James is, well, gay. And creepy.

I feel like some transition would have helped here, because my first thought was "how did they know Gary was at Peggy's place?"

I do wonder if Gary is gaining a new unwanted harem. His old harem consisted of: Sonya, Yuki, Amber, Dillon, Kiley, Didi, and Senna. Now his new harem is Tracy, James, Peggy, and Yuki still hanging on from his first harem. Maybe the pretty blonde (redhead?) with the glasses in the third panel will join Gary's new harem as well?

This, haha. Although that would be a tad rude since I am assuming this is their shared workplace. It would be better handled by talking with them off company time and away from the workplace; no need to have any more gossip or whatever being spread.

As I assumed: Tracy & James's relationship was based off of competition, perhaps on some sort of subconscious/ethereal level as well. There's no doubt they were physically attracted to each other, but once the other opened their mouth they fought/heavily debated. Insert Ma3 comedy hate/make-up sex to delay/ignore the inevitable. While Tracy could have been used as a crowbar to open up James's cromagnon ideology, guess that wasn't meant to be. I also assume that the pair did not have a sit down and try to fix their relationship, since they are both not having any issue at all about publicly asking Gary to go out with them (individually, of course).

I was hoping that they would each apologize to Gary for their behavior both before & during birthday. Maybe on their lunch break (or in a supply closet) Gary will tell each of them his thoughts, and spill the beans on the grapefruiting. James will undoubtedly be majorly upset & embarrassed, and Tracy will laugh at him. Maybe Gary will spill the beans on Tracy's web-cam job. Personally, I hope they (the creative team) don't use Gary to reveal dirt on Tracy & James. He isn't their sex aid, and he made it apparent he isn't their counselor either.

That all being said, way to go Gary! Your options could be better, but you have (not one, but two) people wanting to go out with you!

Hmm, that fetching wavy-haired receptionist needs a name. Definitely one of those Giz-drawn girls who wear glasses at whom men could see themselves making passes.

Anyway, we have proof that Tracy has now been as severely flanderised as James. We also have an intelligence test for the new improved Gary. Tracy is in many ways his ideal woman, but this would be a stupidly unwise situation in which to start a relationship with anyone; a rebound mess with added twiddles - he'd be being used to make a cheap point at her ex. He's now proven capable of saying No; can he also recognise the situations in which it's necessary?

If we now have a truly enhanced Gary 2.0, he probably needs to drag them both out to lunch, together, and get them to at least render the break-up civilised, if they can't make up. Bonus points if he also comes clean about the grapefruit. But that'd probably require the 64-bit enhanced Gary 3.1, and still crash the OS one time in four.

They're all in the same workplace. Whatever happened, he was going to be dealing with them somehow. It just might have been less idiotic.

This comic genuinely isn't porn. Well, it certainly isn't just porn. It shows sex when it's relevant to the plot - which is a lot of the time, but not every time. Showing Gary doing stuff with Peggy would have been superfluous - and his line to her was a nice third-time's-the-charm confirmation that he'd finally passed the age of 18. Dragging the scene out after that would just have been limp, no matter how rigid Gary got.

The Tracy we saw in her first couple of scenes was a very likable character. The Tracy we've seen since, including in this scene, is a vain twit who keeps using Gary for her own ends, with no more concern for his feelings than most women in his past. If Gary has really evolved, he needs to say No to being used.

Well, bi. Creepy - maybe, but is he any more creepy than Tracy, given that they're currently doing the exact same thing?

Well, whenever you release a new product, you have to put it through some stress testing.

In this case, the new product is Gary's backbone.
