I wonder if this will end with Zii deciding that wanting is better than having.
That sounds like Zii's problem all along. She prefers the chase over the capture. It would explain how she blew it with Erik.

But is it missing, from DiDi's point of view? She may need that emotional bond to get there, but this is still the nigh-autistic DiDi; the emotional bond only has to go one way.
I think yes, even so, the connection is missing. The wording DiDi used when she was pouring the charm on Zii sounded a lot like she is willing to try romance, but it lacks the whole «I am suddenly in love» vibe from the time Kiley accidentally bonded. In fact, DiDi's heart still sounds fond of Kiley if you ask me.

That's the only thing I genuinely dislike about the whole MA3 universe... there's no such thing as straight. I get that the whole shtick is the spectrum of sexuality, and that's great, but straight is the only position on that spectrum that's treated as non-existant.
Not quite true. Okay, even Gary looks kind of hetero-flexible these days, but it's pretty clear that Ruby and Andy over in SDB are pretty solidly Kinsey zero (although Andy may just be too stupid to recognise that he has the option), ditto Marie in SotR, and the same seems to go for Jung and Ramona and peripheral characters like Yvan.

Sure, most of the core cast act like a bunch of porn characters plunged into comedy-reality, but basically, that's the joke.

"Bahgawd, the tables have turned here tonight, King! A clean pin for Zii!"

((King stares blissfully into space with a Gary-esque nosebleed))

I don't think that this in any way negates Zii's building feelings for Gary; it just puts her on the road to figuring out how to have both.
Unlurking here (after a L O N G absence) just to note that the final piece of the Ménage à 3 narrative will happen when Gary and Zii finally complete the sexual triangle...and then everyone will live Happily Ever After... ;)

I think they'll all three of them need therapy from an actual licensed therapist before they can have a happily ever after.
Confronting fear of both commitment and abandonment for Suzi.
Assertiveness training for Gary.
Chastel.... What kind of treatment do you give someone teetering on the edge of narcissism? (To put it kindly.)

We need the backstory on that sometime.
Assertiveness training for Gary.
About 5,000 volts might do it.

Brain transplant?

I've said it before, they should see if they can get a group deal. There's a few other cast members that could probably be brought on for a better rate too.

Just nuke the whole city. There are at best 3 sane people there.

Needs schmeeds. You only get what you need sometimes, even in the song (which is wildly optimistic itself). And if these people got what they needed, the comic would stop being funny and start being very boring.

I dunno. I often feel they need a boot up the backside. That could be amusing to see. :D

Ironically (if DiDi did indeed O'd), this strip feels a bit anti-climactic B-) .
