I can't think of a life form that is the opposite of an amoeba, but I surmise its sexual activity is rare because it is too rigid and inflexible. Amoebas on the other hand have no problem. And why? Because they are flexible.

If there is a reason I find this whole thing irritating is that most of the other cast members get sex on a regular basis with more taking than giving. With Gary there is an even amount of exchange which is how it usually is.

Logically, if someone is taking, someone else must be giving... Except that Ma3 sex isn't a zero-sum game. Sonya and Yuki, for example, could both take more than they gave from their sex sessions, because those sessions increased the overall total of sexual satisfaction in the Ma3 universe. Gary, however, has yet to master the art of positive-sum sex.

My only sympathy for Gary is that the lovemaking he's getting does seem to be devoid of tender foreplay, or is pretty much animalistic rutting. The tender sweetness Kiley is giving Didi to get her to climax contrasts. Of course, we are only getting four panels per strip, so seeing Gary's sexual positions (or the ones he's put in) is going to be limited.

This is a sex comedy, which tends to mean that the sex in it will tend to the mechanistic and unsubtle. Fun and exhilarating when it works right, but not very romantic. Twelve panels of delicate foreplay might be romantically hot as hell, but would be a bit short on laughs.

Kiley's treatment of DiDi is the one unavoidable exception, because that's really the whole point about what DiDi needed. And maybe, late in the comic's run, we'll see some more slow, romantic sex scenes, to establish that some final pairings involve deeper emotional bonds. But for now, characters will mostly bonk like bunnies.

Speaking of Kiley, I don't recall anyone ever complaining that she needed to grow a backbone, and she doesn't want what she's getting from Didi.

Kiley's situation is a little different, because she's mostly a fairly strong personality. She's just suffering the consequences of her own idiotic over-confidence about her therapeutic skills, in the form of the psychological steamroller that is DiDi. She brought this on herself.

I meant *this* possible upcoming experience would be horrific due to the size of the presumably aptly named "Black Stallion." Gary can tolerate the... thinner tools, but something of such a bigger size would be more trouble than it is worth. Does that make sense? (Genuinely asking, not trying to be snarky)

Ah, right, yes. That's a reasonable point. Though Gary seems to be adapting, physically as well as mentally.

I recall the Sandra/Didi date was hot as hell - even if a bit over-the-top & a tad goofy - and that went on for several strips. I have confidence the creative team could pull off a date for Gary, that didn't end in complete failure (although I'd bet a bowl of hot soup would fall in his lap, or some other pratfall happening, and his foot invariably being self-inserted into his mouth). Soon (tm)? I'd say it is looking more hopeful, but I think we have a lot of characters now that need attention too (read: open or unresolved plot threads {yes, Izz & everything wrestling... I'm talking about you!}) that are going to get in the way.
